Draft question...

Are the drafts, regardless of live or email going to be a "snake" draft? Meaning the draft order is reversed every other round?

Example:

Round 1.

Team 1, 2, 3, ....12

Round 2.

Team 12, 11, 10, ....1

I think this will make for the most competitive and balanced league.

Yes! It is also referred to as a "serpentine draft" format.

So, the first 3 rounds would look like this:

1st round
1. Team One
2. Team Two

7. Team Seven

11. Team Eleven
12. Team Twelve
2nd Round

Fanball's new version of their draft room should be finished in about a week. Once done, I will have the server randomly select the draft order for us.

Since its a 15 round draft, I take it that we have to pick individual defensive players as well, instead of def. teams.

Is that correct?

I dont think so Mike. I'm pretty sure its Defensive teams that are drafted.

Seeway is correct. You draft a Team's Defense (and you get their Special Teams pts too) You do not draft IDP (individual defensive players).

GREAT! I was in a FF league last year where you had to draft individual def. players and it took forever. I didn't know thats how it was going to be until we actually started the draft.
