So is Javon Walker is out for the season? Did I read that right that he has an ACL injury? Glad I don't have him in any of my fantasy league's.

Yep it looks that way Rich, tests to come tomorrow. Guess we cant complain, it couldve been a lot worse for the skins. Jansen should be ok, not sure what to make of the Hall injury and it appears Ramseys going to be ok.

That's a huge blow to their D line, he is a man amongst men there.

Must be the lack of steroids making them more susceptible to injury.

Very physical opening day to the season. Jenkins and Walker are big losses. Green Bay wasn't going to do anything anyway, but losing Walker is signifcant. I like the fact that Carolina didn't look too great yesterday. With all the losses yesterday, I was pleased to get by Chicago.

Favre has been acting out of character for much of this past offseason. The way he treated the arrival of Aaron Rodgers, the Walker situation, just hasn't been up to his usual standards. I think the fact that he is staring the end of his career right in the face and this season has all the signs of a 6-10 year are probably very sobering to him right now.

Yeah, he is still throwing ducks and ill advised passes at times....the difference these days is no super human WR to catch some of those and turn mistakes into positive playes.

That probably destroys the Panthers' title hopes.

Guess Walker would have been better off holding out...he's gonna have a tough time getting a big contract in the offseason.

Yup, Carolina is in serious trouble...

Unfortunately, Walker is now the NFL's poster boy for holding out long term. No one wants to "end up like Javon did".

I wonder if Brett will have anything to say to Javon now after saying he needs to come into camp and let the $$$ take care of itself.
