The wild card is exactly how LaVar is feeling. If he is at 80%, then you keep him out. I want him to be fully recovered before he steps foot on that field as a starter and havoc wreaker. But if he's golden, I want to see him out there.

Might want to see how Holdman works out at MLB ... or (and I'm in favor of this) Washington at MLB
Washington is probably the best LB we have and is a sideline to sideline beast ... not sure if its the best use of him ... but I'm sure he could handle it

i think we have a good solid defense, but in regards to turnovers, we need more plays where the quarterback is running from a monster making bad throws. this is where lavar would no doubt provide us with a way to make that happen.

I personally think that Lavar is the missing piece to this defense. His playmaking ability could provide our D with 2 TOs a game.
I agree with others that he shouldn't be rushed back. But, according to Lavar and the trainers he is cleared to play. So I say unleash the beast!!!

Couldn't agree more. The poll misses the obvious, in that GW is far more capable of making this decision than Lavar or anyone else. There should be a third option, "When Williams thinks Lavar is ready".

Do I already own the Plasma version or do I have to purchase it new?

Metaphorically speaking, you already own it but it just came back from the repair shop. Of course using that logic, obviously you would immediately plug that sucker in to make sure it was fixed but you might not overuse it at first.
What are we talking about again?

And this is what I would vote for. As it is now, I shall abstain from voting. I trust the coaching staff. This isn't some second rate college coaching staff that deserves to be second guessed because they view it as a 9-5 job with time for Golf.

Greg Williams is the genius, TRUST IN GREG to know how and when to unleash the beast. For the first time, I think Greg is actually teaching Lavar on how to play inside the scheme and not the other way around.

Listen to Joe Gibbs press conference on 9/21 on redskins.com, there is a comment on there where Gibbs states that packages that utilized Lavar were not used frequently during the past game, so the only question I have is would be "Why isn't Lavar in MORE packages?" My guess is based on the tongue lashing Lavar received when he was out of position in the beginning of the game. Greg WILL teach Lavar to play his role and will replace him with someone that sticks to the plan. I think the packages can use either Warrick or Lavar, it is just as simple as Greg plays disciplined people that stay within their roles in the system. We will see more from Lavar when he learns the system and his role in the system better because we will see Greg decide to use Lavar in more packages.

I know our defense is good, but we really dont force too many turnovers or get to the qb much. We are lucky to be 2-0 with our turnover margin thus far (thanks to a rookie qb, and defense that got complacent on monday). I think Lavar, if healthy helps us create turnovers and pressure the qb.

you already own it but you have to reprogram it every year. it seems with each change of systems Lavar is like a rookie all over again. there is no cumulative effect of his years in the league. guys like Holdman, or Marcus Washington, they act, learn, adapt and perform like veterans. Lavar seems to have to start all over again and take a while to get comfortable and productive.
