Offense- B+... Brunell was dead on except for the Portis pass, I would like to see us pound the ball with success on shortyardage/goaline plays. I am happy with the TD's today and how they came but to get an A, Portis has got to get a 1-2 yard TD run.

Defense- C-... Lights out in the first half but were basically run over in the 2nd, Alexander got going and Hasselback was hitting all the open guys. Everything GW called in the 2nd half backfired and the play where he sent 9 guys on a 3rd and 11....

Special Teams B... solid except for the blocked FG, the announcers said it was a low kick but there was a huge DT in the backfield too quick.

Coaching B+... Ball control mixed in with some big plays and the defense was decent overall. When you have a road team down 11 points with 20 minutes left in the game to got to close the deal, we didn't and it almost cost us.

I know everyone is going to be critical of our defense but keep in mind: Seattle is a top offense this year and most other teams would be happy to hold them to 17. We've been spoiled.

defense: B
Offense B
Special teams: C
Coaching: B+

Kickoffs need to get at least inside the 10.
Offense controlled the clock in the first half, that's no accident.
Coaches had a good plan on offense. Not very many punts. Offense drove the length of the field in OT for the win. Running game was not as good as I hoped.

Offense B Ramsey who? I am now officially on the Brunell bandwagon. 2 straight 3rd and long runs by Brunell to win the game.

Defense c+: Second half collapse and not alot of pressure.

Special teams C-: Game winning kick aside. The kick offs wer so short they actually fair caught one. Blocked FG

Coaching: A Gibbs seemed to call all the right plays and GW did as well. Good to see the walrus go 0-4.

Offense: B
We really looked like team out there, but we still have a little ways to go.

Defense: C+
No interceptions, no forced fumbles, and we needed to stop their short passes more.

Special Teams: B
Good, not great.

Coaching: A-
Nothing to really complain about.

Offense B -- They looked awfully impressive overall

Defense C-- Despite my partner in crime's encouragement (skinfan43), I was worried as all heck as we gave up th long scoring drive

Special Teams C -- kickoffs were awful. blocking was bad... coverage was good.

Coaching B+ -- Hey, I like d the play calling mix and felt we dominated the game until the end.

Offense: B Agree with assessment above, however, running game was predictable and the O-Line did not get much push off on run plays. Pass protection was very adequate and Brunell maneuvered himself out of pass protection breakdowns. I would have thought our O-Line should have been manhandling the Hawks DLine considering the advantage we have in size and the amount of time that Defense was out there.

Defense: B I am disappointed in the dropoff in performance in the second half. The time of possession we had today was actually reversed for the first time [our offense was on the field more than the defense was] How could we be fatigued at the end of the game, we should have been energized. 17 pts I hope is an abnormality and is an indicator of the strength of the Hawks O. I will give a thumbs up however to our defense for the level of play we did have, considering we were missing 3 of our normal players [Walt Harris would have handled Engram better, no Lavar and ST was out for a little bit because he was tired], we definitely need our D to help contain the high-octane Os with our next 2 games.

Special teams: B Thumbs down to the COACH, the commentary I received with my Sunday Pass indicated those short kickoffs were called by the coach...the explanation was to try to avoid giving up the big play. I don't know which poison I would have preferred, giving 20 yards to the Hawks O' to avoid the big play or to put them further back in field position because of the return game. Without knowing much about the Hawks' STeamers, I cant exactly remember being excited or worried about the return men of the Hawks. Big hoot to Novak for coming through in the clutch and to the tackling of our teamers, nothing big was given up and we actually did not surrender big field position.

Coaching: A I am pleased that we have finally achieved balance and can actually saw that our passing game is going to have to be accounted for by DC gameplanning us. The next thing we need is to get the O-Line to start shoving people around like the Good Ol' Hogs did the last time we were

3-0

Thumbs up

Offense: B+

Defense: B

Special Teams: C

Coaching: B+

I still want to see our guys score more points (please Coach, please...). That, plus no more late 4th Quarter turnovers would do my blood pressure a WORLD of good.
