I guess that's the best case scenario right there. I have honest problems ever wanting the cowboys to win. Unless it's the last game of the season and we need them to win to get in the playoffs... If there is no tie, no matter the position, I want dallas to lose.

Me too. Pretty much a guranteed win at home. However, it seemed like they always gave us a difficult game in either St. Louis or Arizona.

For skins fans there is almost no strategic alternative but to root against the Eagles. The cowboys are already behind yall and won't be close for the remainder of the year.

I think you have to disregard strategy this early in the season. Even if Philly loses you know they are going to be there in the end at or near the top of the division. If Dallas wins then they are right back in the hunt for the NFC East, but if they lose the NFC East could become a 3 team race really soon. If I'm the Skikns' I'd rather have 2 teams breathing down their back than 3 teams.

Maybe you're right, the cowboys are looking terrific against the Eagles. If they play like this .... look out.

I saw something one time that I will never forget. Something like:
When the Cowboys and the Eagles play I don't know who to root for, maybe I'll just root for a Comet to hit the stadium.
I'm pretty partial to this opinion.

Did anyone watch the game today? I'm convinced that Parcells spent 99.9% of the offseason preparing for this game and forgot to plan for everyone else, but other than that does anyone know how the Cowboys spanked the Eagles? Before the game I thought that the Cowboys' crappy, undisciplined secondary was fresh meat for the Eagles' passing attack, but apparently not. Is McNabb's injury worse than we thought? Did the Cowboys suddenly get good? Did the Eagles' one-dimensional offense finally catch up to them? If anyone can offer a good assessment, do tell.

I glanced back and forth at it at a bar while watching the Skins and Dallas' pass rush was nasty. They were playing VERY physical which did not seem to suit Donovan, Westy, and TO. McNabb also did not look like himself, and was running for his life much of the game.
Bledsoe to Glenn was unstoppable, especially in the first quarter when Glenn had freaking 94 yards and 2 TDs! Philly's secondary was shredded pretty bad, what is up with that??
I'd love if someone could offer up a much more detailed analysis as I was only glancing back and forth like I said.

This is why I can't be happy about the Eagles loss, even though it helps us: Dallass fans.
They are crowing like mad today, especially over in the iggles newsgroup. You should see the abuse those scumbags are dishing out over there.
I'm sorry, I just hate them with the burning, white hot heat of a thousand suns. I want them to lose EVERY game, standings be damned. Now I have to hear all this "We're back" crap for the next week from their arrogant fans.
I know it borders on heresy considering our standings in the division, but all I can say about next week is, "Go, Giants."

For the last 2 years I thought the Eagles DB's were overrated. The Blitz was the key. Their CB's are good, but not pro-bowl worthy. The Girls can't do that against Sean Springs and Walt Harris.

The old-fogie combination of Bledsoe and Brunell is tearing up the league this year. And let's not forget the old-fogies at head coach, either.
There's a Cialis joke in there somewhere, I can feel it......

The Dallas defense is very aggresive. Remember, they sacked Brunell 5 times. The NFC East is downright nasty this year.

So I guess I will put it here.
What do you guys think of Terrell Owens wearing a Cowboy Jersey. Pretty Petty, its like the guy goes out of his way to piss people off. Man I would be pissed if any redskin was caught with a cowboy anything on...let alone a jersey. I think thats the ultimate slap of disrespect Owens can show not to the organization but to the fans, who he knows really eat, sleep, and .... eagles football. Don't get me wrong...screw the eagles, but damn if I were Reid, Id call passes to Owens down the middle every play, and set him up for a beating...but thats me :-)

This game was completely lopsided. Did Philly even want to win this game? I expected at least a good game, tho i was happy to see meshawn and Bledsoe go at it.
