Players to Watch Returns
I'm only going with players I think the Skins have a reasonable shot at in the 2nd round.
http://ulmathletics.collegesports.co...brandon00.html
http://uabsports.collegesports.com/s...n_larry00.html
(Not alot of helpfull info on McSwain but he's one of my favorites)
http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=3378&SPID=233&DB_OEM_ID=500 &ATCLID=22358&Q_SEASON=2005
Here's a couple of players that had no helpfull info on them on their sites:
Maurice Stovall, WR Notre Dame (6'4, 220) All the talent in the world but never put it together until this year. Not a burner but fast enough for his size, good runner after the catch and great hands when he's on
Freddie Roach, MLB Alabama (6'2 248) Consumate hustler and is a very good form tckler in addition to being able to pack a punch. Smart player, good fit for our defense.
If those numbers on Guillroy are true, let's hope nobody else reads that.

I am a big Notre Dame fan and you are right on the money about Stovall. From this year, he looks very primed to be a very good nfl receiver. His hands and size are nice. He has also been running well after the catch. Good kid as well. I think he would fit in very well to our offense. Big receiver we need.

Minnesota has two running backs but I think the #2 guy (Russel) looks better than Maroney. Russel is a little thicker in the arms, legs and trunk and he has an impressive combination of speed and power.

Maroney will be a top 15 pick if he comes out but as far as RB's nobody is talking about I like Tyrone Moss from Miami. He's got really good moves, runs low and runs angry. If Betts goes, I wouldn't mind picking him up.

Jeff Smarijzia (spell.) looks like definite material as well. Only a 20 year old sophomore however, but the guy is fast and can make amazing catches. One of the smoothest receivers you will ever see who has a knack for making big plays. He may need to put on a little weight, but he has plenty of time to do that.

we should pick a texas DB. Just not cedric. Micheal Huff would be great. He can play any pos. in the secondary. Can cover and is great in run support

If it was only that simple. I believe we'll get one in the first day but if we get a first round pick for Arrington it'll probably be towards the end and right now there are alot of question marks for almost every D-end in the draft besides Kiwi and Mariio Williams who we will probably not get anywhere near. Guys like Darryl Tapp, Ray Edwards and Manny Lawson could all be solid picks but are not no brainers just because they're at our biggest position right now but at the same time all 3 of them could be considered.

Manny Lawson would be a situational pass rusher. I dont see him being an every down DE in the pros to light

If he puts on about 10 more pounds and runs anything close to what NC State claims he runs (4.4) then he has a very good chance of going in the first round.

What position does he play?

The guy from NFL Total Access says there are alot of questions about him if he can move his hips fast enough to be a CB. If he cant be a CB then i dont think we need him since Clark and Taylor are a nice combo to begin with.
