Wow, that was a tough fought game and the Skins deserved the win..PERIOD. No excuses from me. The Eagles are bottom dwellers this year. I know this now. I'll be here the rest of the year routin' you guys on. Promise!

Again...........you guys deserved that one!!! Now get them Giants. I don't expect the Cowboys to be a problem for ya this year..

Note to self> That Reggie kid is exciting?? He was the highlight of the evening for me.
You've always had some good insight on this board, and I truly respect the fact that you can take a loss so humbly. As much as I would like too, i'm not sure i could i come to an opposing teams board and eat a little crow. For that though you have my utmost respect. Maybe you'll get us next game(hopefully not)

Got to say you are a classy guy....and you are right that Reggie kid is a keeper...(although i feel like he could stand to spend some time in the weight room the next couple of years, but other than that he has a chance to be a good starter for years to come and turn in a few great games here and there....kudos to Reid on that pick)

Keep your heads up Eagles Aye and Philly Phil. Both of you are good posters here. Besides, you still have the Giants twice and Dallas at home. You don't need TO to be successful. You still have a great Defense and some youth at the receiver position. IMO, the Giants aren't as good as advertised. Its a long season ahead and something tells me that you aren't dead yet.

Hey, what's the truth with the TO thing. Rumors started hitting the parking lots before the game that the Eagles had lifted the suspension and made it a deactivation. Is that true? That rumor spreaded real fast. Anyway, I think you all are much better off without him.

At 4-4 I'm not ready to write off the Eagles just yet. They've had a lot of injuries and they caught cancer two years ago but they are still a well-coached team with a lot of depth (though not quite as much as in years past). They could easily go 6-2 from here on out and make the playoffs. All they have to do is play the way they played against the Chargers.

No way you write Philly off after last night.

Sloppy game by both teams. Skins fumbles could have cost them the game.

Horrible play calling by Philly at both the end of the half and the end of the game.

Brunnell was a machine last night. Great to see after the abuse he took here last year.

Congrats on big win.

They got SUPER lucky in that Chargers game, luckier than I've ever seen a team get...thats not what they need, they need to play better than that.

But I'm not ready to right them off either. They may be in the basement right now, but they aren't down by THAT much. They are a team that has experience winning, and experience winning down the stretch. They could easily get hot and finish the season at the top of the division, ANY team could. Its just going to be harder for them. There are ALOT of division games left to play and they will all be very important.

I'm not ready to write them off but they have their backs against the wall since they are 0-2 in the division and 1-3 in the conference. If they win the next two games though, they'll be right back in it.

Ya know, its pretty frustrating to hope year in and year out only to be disappointed that we did'nt go all the way again and again and again!. There is so much built up emotion and frustration I think I'll scream. I just wish that one day before I die they will get that championship that has eluded them for these many centuries...

Again congrats to the better team (Redskins) and its fans this year.....
Me a closet Eagles fan??? No, sir, you should have seen me during the game, I made a George Carlin performance look clean with all the swearing I do towards those damn Eagles.

But I do think they're still a strong team and could get back on a roll and make some noise. You guys have a must win at home against Dallas on Monday night and two more against the Giants (not counting your last game against us cause we'll win that ) So I'm definitely not rooting for the Eagles, but I think they're still in this thing.

I just hope we can keep winning and the other three teams can beat the hell out of each other.

A toast to the classy Eagles fans!!!

You were definitely hurt because of the T.O. distraction, but your young guys stepped up.I wouldn't hesitate or fear in getting rid of Owens.
As long as the Eagles have McNabb, you'll always be a good team.

The Eagles will have a decent season, but that won't be good enough in the NFC 'Beast'. You're going to have to win 10 just to get a wildcard. I just don't think the Eagles offense has the weapons without TO to get to that level.

Good posts by the Eagles fans here. Better than the Iggles fan sitting a few seats down from us at the game - he was sick twice. His face started to match his jersey by the third quarter after too many beers.
