he's not a loser, he wants to play his position. I can't blame him either. The man wins the heisman as a qb and he's told that he isn't good enough, but he should be a WR a position he never played.
He would have been fine in the CFL, until the Packers gave him false hope.

You have to question the knowledge and sincerity of the FO of the Packers. Did they have a clue? I really don't understand taking an athlete of this caliber and jerking him around with remaking him into another position player, practice squad fodder, NFL Europe, etc. Either he competes and looses the position or he is so bad you just say thanks and adios!

I hope he works it out with the Packers to cut him completely and, if he wants, he takes a shot in the CFL. I still think he has something there that can make him a good QB.

I feel bad for him. I mean there are teams that could use a good backup QB. I'd rather of him backing up Ramsey then loser boy Rob that's there now. Really, I mean the NFL thinks they are the shiznit so they can do with people whatever they want. He is a QB! A damn good one at that. The Packers need to do this kid a favor, and give up their rights so he can go do what he wants to do. Play Quarterback. If he bombs, fine they were right, but what if he is awesome. What if he kicks everyones ass, then they'll be kicking themselves. For Christ's Sake how can Green Bay be so stupid? Farve has maybe 2-3 years left at the MOST! When he is gone, they are done...unless they find a good QB to replace him, and I'm sorry but Doug Pederson and Akili Smith are not the answer.

I think he could make it in the NFL as well. I'd LOVE to have him as a 3rd qb. Work with SPurrier all season, and he could be something special. Better than that Hamden soon to be flop. We need johnson as our 2nd whether we like it or not...but he could have been a good compliment.
I read an article about him a few months ago about how good his arm was, and he impressed the scouts. Why all of a sudden has things changed?

PS- Akili Smith will develope into a good QB in the GB system...just watch. He had the cincy system before...this kid has talent.

I'm torn on Crouch's situation. On one hand I can understand his desire to play QB but on the other it's unfortunate they he won't use his God given talent.

Oh, but he will. Just not for the packers this season. Maybe a season or two in the CFL will boost his market.
(I don't think it would hurt to go to the arena league either.)
