Default Boo Yourself!

I cannot believe I heard Boo's coming out of the stands after the three and out that led to the winning field goal. Yes Brunell didn't play well today, his passes were not crisp and he made some poor decisions, but to boo your own team is sad and distasteful. I thought the booing thing was over with. All booing does is make your team look bad and pumps the other team up. I thought we were smarter than this, I thought we had more class, but I guess not. Every fan wants to see this team win, all of us want to get back to a Super Bowl, and you know what so do the players. When your team goes out and has a bad game, don't boo it makes you look like the lowest common denominator and our guys don't deserve it.

I don't like the booing either but fans have every right to do so. Hopefully the boos today were directed to the coaching staff and not the effort on the field.

The people that pay for their tickets have the right to boo bad play. Since unfortunately bad play is what they got, you can only expect booing.

I agree and that the coaching staff deserves the brunt of the boos. But I don't like the fact that the fans were booing period. That's just sad.

No, not for me. I expect fans. Fans of a team don't boo their own squad. I thought we were there for support. What is the good of booing your own team? When has it ever helped the situation?

When you buy something at the store and it doesn't perform like it was advertised, you take it back, don't you? You expect a new one or a refund?

Well people who purchase tickets and go expecting to see a victory have every right to booo when they think their team is playing like crap. I wanted to boo from home, but it wouldn't have done any good.

Fans at every stadium boo. When you can barely complete a pass against one of the worst secondaries in the NFL and can't score an offensive touchdown at home against a 3-6 football team, then people are going to boo. It still may be lame and un-classy, but it's going to happen. I didn't like it but I was far from surprised.

I agree 100%, this is the worst performance I've seen since last year. I would have been highly disappointed if I paid, and drove to see that game, the fans deserve a refund for that pitiful display. You can tell I'm steaming about this one.

----i drive 3 hours to every redskins game, and i tailgate before each one.

----my father was on the list for 17 years before getting a ticket.

----of course it cost alot of money!!

I have never, and won't boo the redskins. THey put forth the effort, we all saw it. The coaching staff put forth the effort, they were just wrong.

I see how booing affects our team...it hurts them, i rember Mark from last year...and look at him now, he clearly doesn't respect us as a fan base.

I see how booing affects the other team. they get hyped, happy makes them proud.

LEts not boo because it only hurts us, you pay the ticket and you do have that right, but don't you want to see the team do well, get to a superbowl, have respect from the players. then don't boo, encourage!!!!!!!
