Is LaVar Injured?
I just caught the tail end of LaVar (on the John Thompson Show) saying something about rehabbing and "there is no tomorrow"? How bad is his injury? I've been too busy to read much of anything including the boards, but I think we are in trouble without him. He has been MUCH better than Holdman IMO.
Luckily, I think we can stop AZ's runnnig game without LaVar, but we will need #56 for dallass, ginats, and Filthy!

He said Betts is closer. Lavar has a bruise but should be fine

Thanks CB!
Wow, LaVar made it sound more serious than a bruise!? I really need to find a job that allows me to surf the net 8+ hours a day.

Deep tissue bruises can take over month to get right. If that's what it is, he will be playing with sharp pain in that leg the rest of the way.

I read in the paper today that he is fine. That's according to Tyer.

It's going to take alot for Lavar to give up his starting position after getting it back proved so tiresome. We need him on the field. I have a feeling Lavar is going to have several big, big plays for the remainder of the year especially in the division games.

Overall, I don't think he has the burst sideline to sideline he did before last season. Your right, we do need him and he (even injured) is way better than holdman.

Lately I've been doing 12+ hour days with little time to breathe... no complaints though. I'm glad I have a job. Maybe we need to start a resume thread...
Re: LaVar, he sounded pretty concerned and I think it must be a BAD bruise. He said he would be out there, but it also sounded like he was fighting a cold. He said he didn't watch the game because he was "under the weather"?
LaVar - Get healthy baby! We're coming to give you and the team some support out in 'Zona!

He really looks slow compared to his old form. I hope this is due to injury and will be healed in the future. Even if he weren't to play the Skins have done fine on D under GW w/out Lavar. Actually the D as a whole has given up 4 more points per game since his return.

I want you job.
I don't believe that Lavar is in football shape, but he has been getting faster each week, well until now, and he has a knack for the big play when needed.
Nothing I have read has said that he is going to be out of the game, yet.

Yeah right now we don't have time to heal up. We got to have him to play the next 4 games and hopefully into the playoffs.

LaVar is listed as questionable on Redskins.com injury report but I think he will play.
BTW, did you all hear that Santana tweaked his hamstring? He is listed as probable, so I won't worry too much yet but if he were to go down, we would be in serious trouble.
