Default Impeachment of Bush now a responsibility

It being obvious now that Bush has committed impeachable offenses, it seems to me that it is the civic responsibility of all Americans to see the constitutional corrective be set in motion and justice be done. I suggest that it is unAmerican to allow the laws of our country be violated without demanding proper accountability and that he who does not is no patriot.

I suggest we inform our congressmen of the above and our resolution to have articles of impeachment before the current congress or before a new group of congressmen less than a year from now.

At least in this forum.

Gee Fat Head, Redskin Dave, BNG! Haven't been reading the papers?

There's a smoking gun and a confession! And indefensible, impeachable conduct!

Also disaffection within the Republican party and calls for investigation from within the party. Presidential popularity as a PERSON in the low forties. Widespread belief that President is guilty as charged in regard to virtually everything.

Polls showing public wants Republicans out of congressional power next election by wide margin. Scandals looming to thin ranks of Republicans in House and Senate. Republicans ready to vote against Bush for usurping congressional power and lying to congress, as well as to avoid going down with him.

If Dems take House, consider Bush impeached. That's now a reality. Spare me trouble of detailing why Bush's numbers are going to sink sink sink in the coming year. BNG, maybe you should tell Redskin Dave the truth about the Iraq election and coming civil war. Maybe both of you can tell Fat Head about Wire Tapping anyone you want to without warrants or coming indictments over the Plame or Abramoff affairs...or even the new Halliburton slave scandal or justice dept's uncovering of election fraud in 2004...or...on and on.

Suffice it to say, Bush is toast.

Why do you not lend a match, anyway? Do you support torture, tyrants, lying, war mongering, stupidity in government? Are you afraid, too cool? Too realistic? What's your beef with action? Just what's your infinitely wise reason for doing nothing while this inconceivablly corrupt moron is turning the landscape over to his cabal of ravenous pigs.

I'd just like to say that Paintedbird has filled a void in this forum.

This whole thread is silly. We don't impeach presidents for illegally spying on Americans. We impeach them for important things, like getting a hummer from a fat chick.

Personally, I think going to war based on false intelligence is slightly more important than a few wire taps but that's just me.
