Default Best Training Camp memory

Hopefully this question hasn't been done yet...
What's your favorite memory from a Redskins Training Camp?

My Favorite:

Quote:
"Burly running back Gerald Riggs had been acquired from Atlanta that spring, and during the scrimmage, Riggs ran out of bounds, slammed into equipment manager Jay Brunetti’s truck and dented it.

Shortly thereafter, here came Riggs again, heading straight for Cooke, who was seated in a wooden chair along the sideline. Redskins public relations director Charlie Dayton jumped up and hurled his featherweight body in front of Riggs to prevent the collision of player and owner. For his bravery above and beyond the call, Dayton became the first PR man to make the All-Madden team."
(The Quote is from the Washington Times)

I saw it on TV and I laugh about it to this day!

I've only been to one TC and that was last year. Unfortunately, it wasn't good for the particular player. It was during the second practice and they were working the CBs right in front of where I was sitting. I believe the players name was Washington or something close to it...

Well, the guy misses like 6 balls in a row. The crowd was getting on him something fierce. Then the players began ragging on him as well. Once he finally caught one the fans gave him a long ovation....lol

I guess you had to be there to see it........

Nothing is better than seeing Darrell speeding through Carlisle in a VW Bug.

yes I have pics of that bug. He joked when everyone crowded him as he was trying to leave that it was so old it didn't have brakes any more

I've only been to TC once (last year) and got my nice football (w/Redskins emblem and history engraved on it) signed by Steve Spurrier, Gardner #87, Champ Bailey #24......................and my favorite Redskin of all time..................DARRELL GREEN #28.

I also was laughing at the people who got their footballs signed by the likes of Chandler Smith, Mark Washington, Donte' Curry and Sage Rosenfels.

lol! i saw that too mike! that was hilarious. after watching drop ball after ball, i turned to my brother and said, oh...he's definitely cut! that was the first TC i had ever been to. didnt get any autographs though. before i knew it, the line was 2 miles long. i think the thing i'll remeber the most was the applauds that darrell green got from the crowd when he first stepped on the field.
