During seven-on-seven drills in the afternoon session, Ramsey completed four consecutive passes, which drew "oohs" from fans. First, Ramsey threw a pinpoint pass to rookie wide receiver Taylor Jacobs. Then, Ramsey pumped, faking cornerback Fred Smoot before throwing a pass down the left sideline to Laveranues Coles in stride. Next, Ramsey tossed a rainbow pass to running back Sultan McCullough, who hauled it in despite being hounded by linebacker LaVar Arrington. Finally, Ramsey zipped a short completion to Rod Gardner.
I love to read these type of remarks. He's learning to throw the ball with touch when he has too......thats the making of a great QB!

Too me the best indicator you can get about a young QB in a situation like this is his character and demeanor, which is the main thing everyone's saying about him.

In the early session, an aggressive defensive line frequently flushed Ramsey out of the pocket during 11-on-11 drills, bringing back bad memories of last season before the club revamped its offensive line. Under those circumstances, Ramsey had trouble showing synchronicity with new receivers as a few passes went awry.
So this concerns no one? Well, it IS only the first day.

my bet is Sultan Mccullough will replace Gillespie as our RB on practice squad. Kid has potential, but unfortunately, it is not his time yet. I dont think he will factor into the current battle, but camps are known for surprises.

Made me feel a bit better about the defensive line.

Yeah, SPENSE, me too!!!! My main concern with our team is the D-Line. Still not convinced that they can put adequate pressure on opposing QB's. Ps. don't we still need a Punter????

Didn't sound all that great to me. Seems like Ramsey still has a few problems with timing and accuracy.
