Most of you won't like him because he is a conservative but he has a Redskin connection. I really like where he stands on the issues according to his site. check it out.

I remember this guy, backup cb for Norvile. He might want to take "Pro Bowler" off his bio. He's not listed as one of the Skins' pro bowlers in the 1990s according to the Redskins' web site.

Pretty generic conservative, but doesn't really have any views on the issues. He doesn't have any sort of "I will fight for this plan" or "I will do this": Just talking points.

I don't know if its true but it says on his bio that he made the pro-bowl on special teams.

I know, but I remember this guy and I didn't think he made the Pro bowl. So I checked it out. The Redskins official website doesn't list him as a pro bowler:
http://www.redskins.com/team/history-pro.jsp
Neither does profootballreference.com

The NFC Pro Bowl Special teamers(He claims he made the pro bowl during this time period since these were the years he was with the Skins):
1995: Elbert Shelley Atl
1996: Jim Schwantz Dal
1997: Travis Jersey GB
The AFC Pro Bowl Special Teamers(since he was with SD then):
1998: Bennie Thompson Bal
1999: Detron Smith, Den.
2000: Larry Izzo, Mia

Scott's professional football career began in 1995, when he was drafted by the Washington Redskins. His three years with the Redskins earned him a Pro Bowl nomination for special teams play.

My mistake, he was only nominated, according to his Bio.
Sorry to create the rumblings of a scandal with my mistake. Hope I don't bring down the entire campaign with this faux paux...

He should have worded it much differently. It sounds like he was an alternate, which is very possible, but the way its written makes it sound like he was a pro bowler. A "nomination" sounds like he went there. He should change it to: "I was given Pro Bowl consideration" or "I was an alternate to the Pro Bowl"; but I have a feeling that the wording is intentional.

Politics aside, what do you have to do in order to be nominated for a chance to be a special teams pro-bowler?
Is that like having your name on the list of choices at NFL.com?
Every team who has someone that plays that particular position would qualify.
This sounds like a major embellishment,or at least a serious overhyping.
Who does he think he is.....Desmond Howard?

Claiming a pro bowl nomination sounds no worse than an actor claiming an Academy Award nomination.

Disagree. An Oscar Nomination is an award in and of itself. Being considered for a Pro Bowl spot, or being an alternate isn't an award at all.
