I think 2,3,5,6,7
We may have 2 6's, 1 is for Rod Gardner. Or perhaps its a 7th. Not too sure.
But we are likely to get either a 4th or 5th comp pick as well.

When are compensatory picks announced?

It seems historically the comp picks are announced at the end of March...

I doubt we get any comps. We lost Smoot and AP but singed Patten & Rabach. Patten = Smoot, Rabach = AP. It is a wash.

I just think the whole compensatory pick is the dumbest rule in the NFL. It makes no sense.

Yea but based on the contracts that Smoot and AP signed compared to the contracts we signed Patten and Rabach to, we could potentially get a pick for it. But then again noone really knows the exact formula the NFL use so who really knows.
Im expecting around a 5th rounder tho, perhaps a 4th if we are lucky.

I'd be happy with any compensatory picks. I seem to recall reading an analysis posted somewhere of the very very detailed rules and how the Skins were not going to get any additional picks. Skins can flesh out the draft a little bit with the pick(s) obtained for Ramsey. The first round will be boring though.

I was pretty sure I read that we would get 2 picks for sure since Patten's season, playwise, would not warrant the same as Pierce's or Smoot's. Rabach's would compare to Smoot's. But then again, salarywise neither of our guys compare to the money received by Smoot or Pierce. So we would be compensated for BOTH guys... something like a 3rd for Pierce and a 5th/6th for Smoot.
