I'm sure this haunts him everyday. He's gotta be regretting this right now. If he could take it back I'm sure he would and that's why I think that if all the charges are cleared, he'll play twice as hard, knowing that this life could've been taken away. At least I hope this will happen.

I am so worried. If someone has something that they can say about this trial to assure me that he will be here opening day next year, it would be very relaxing.

We can void his contract basically and get all his cap charge.

What if he only had to go for like a year or 2? Do you think his contract would be voided and he would re-enter the NFL as a FA?

I think he does no time, very little time that he can do in the offseason or he's gone until he's in his 50-60s.

That makes me a little uneasy. What are the chances he is convicted?

No matter the outcome of this trial, I will remain a Redskin fan and will support them fully throughout the season. I just look at the situation and see that if he is not available, then I see us drop from a NFC East Champion lock to a potential Wild Card team. This really doesn't look good from a football perspective.

Think about it this way, ther are actual murderers that are still playing like Leonard Little. All Taylor did was get in a squabble over a four wheeler. It is hard to put an athlete behind bars, lol.

How about Ray Lewis, who murdered 2 men in Atlanta, or Jamal Lewis who was taped by the Feds making a crack cocaine deal? Both still happily employed by the Baltimore Ravens.

out of sight out of mind..........I was feeling real good about this the last few months. This thread brings it all right back to the surface and I'm not so sure any more. Just wish it was over, we don't really need this hanging over our heads any longer than nessary but on the other hand the longer it drags on the better chance he has of getting off
Taylor, Arch, Springs and Rodgers--------WOW what an amazing secondary
I feel he will get off or a slap on the wrist but the jury tampering dosen't look good or sit well with Judges

1. He may be found Not Guilty. End of story.
2. Guilty but gets a reduced [probationary] sentence. He can't get into anymore trouble; but he can still play.
3. Guilty - they throw the book at him. He appeals. Probable - he gets 3 years and serves one. Most convictions only serve 1/3 the total time [good conduct in jail].
The prosecution is showboating - 15 years? Three overlapping charges for the same crime? The average murder conviction in the US is only 7 years. ST has no prior arrests. He has a clean record. The guy accusing him may have stolen Taylor's property. Sean has a real job and will have excellent character witnesses.
I am not trying to minimize the crime or make excuses for his actions, in any way. All I'm saying is that the sky is not falling...yet.
