Jon Kitna to the Lions
Jon Kitna made the first move Tuesday for what will be a busy day for NFL quarterbacks by agreeing to a four-year deal with the Detroit Lions.
You gotta figure Ramsey is gonna go soon. Most likely to the Jets.

I was thinking the same thing. He obviously thought this through.

It was smart of Kitna to go to the Lions instead of the Jets. Mike Martz will have him running the show over there in no time.

Smart move for Kitna. He can be a decent starter in the league and we know they have talented WRs on that team. I'm sure he'll overtake Joey early in the season if not during training camp.

Good move for Kitna, bad move for the lIons. Kitna is not going to be able to throw the ball the way artz wants. I thought for sure Matt Millen would be knocking on Washington's door for Ramsey or make a move for culpepper or Brees. Looks like the Lions will be cellar dwellars again.

I like this move. Kitna will be fairly good in Detroit, assuming they know how to protect him. Seems as if most of their offensive money is tied up in WRs instead of pass rush protection.

Also assuming someone breaks up the love affair with Harrington over there.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kitna start from the get-go. It's possible he could win the position in preseason.

Smart move for Kitna and I expect the Ramsey trade happens today. I imagine we'll get a fourth or fifth and a conditional pick in '07.

Of the three big qb moves that have happened so far today, I think this is the one that will yield the best results. Seems like a good match.
I just think Kitna's better than most people realize.
We'll see I guess!
