Wow man, I can't believe it took you this long to notice. I started doing it a few weeks ago when it became all but certain that the Eagles were going to sign Garcia. I thought pink would be a more appropriate color now that he became an Eagle. Gaffney is a solid pickup. If he has a great year though, and becomes a FA again, I doubt the Eagles will pony up for the long term deal. We'll see.

I cant believe they are working with Rosenhaus on any contract though.

I'm really not too concerned with this signing. Gaffney is a number 2 reciever at best, I don't see him as any better then Todd Pinkston or anyone else they currently have. They need a number 1 which they still lack.

If he has a great year the Eagles will do what they always do with the young and upcoming player; they'll extend the contract mid season. They're one of the best at that. This one year signing is just a test to see if he's as good as they think without much in the way of strings attached. They made the evil ones contract that way. They have a thing about dead money it seems.
