Anything we got in exchange for Ramsey is gravy. I'm pleased. Now, let's move on.

You missed this part of the article then:

Even at a reduced rate, though the Redskins likely had to deal Ramsey or release him, since he had finally become frustrated by his status.

Two thoughts:
1) What happened to Tampa Bay???
2) Ha! People have been calling Gibbs a lame-o for taking on Collins while still shopping Rams -- thought we'd get zilch now. We did a lot better than zilch. In fact, there seems to be a bit of karma, somehow, in getting a 6th for 50/50 and a 6th for Patrick. Peanut, peanut butter... and jelly.
And if you asked me, straight up, would I trade for a shot at more O-line depth or possibly a corner? Hellya is what I'd say.

One of the benefits that won't get mentioned right away is that we just cleared more cap. Voila!
O-line, CB, LB, what's it gonna B? Gee...

So, does this mean a few posters here will finally quit bugging us about how TTT is the next Elway?

Of all days for this to happen, too. St. Patrick's Day.
Gibbs is a man of his word. Rams should have a great chance of starting. I wish him all the best in the world.

yes!!! finally! I don't even care if it's just a 6th rounder. We have three of those now right? one of them is BOUND to be a decent player for us... especially when it's from the jets.
hopefully we can address our depth concerns now with 5(i think) second day picks
