Default David Terrell

he still sucks. i got a little caught into the hype that he is bigger and better. he tried to tackle stephen davis high and took a bad angle like he usually does. it cost us 40 yards
does the coaching staff really think he is good. i simply dont understand.
he cant tackle, he always takes bad angles, he cant cover either
iffy is most definetly better
smoot still cant tackle either

Uhh, tackling high is not a good thing. YOu have to wrap those legs up. That alone makes him not the starter in my book.

Terrell looked scared to tackle Davis low......not that I blame him. But, thats his job. Either step up to the plate or let someone else play who'll get the job done.

Yup Terrell definitaly failed geometry

I agree Ohalete is a much better player at least in run support, he's also a better hitter. I don't know if he's better in coverage though.

Even CHAMP BAILEY doesn't "tackle" well (IMO). I know that sounds crazy (to some), but he usually "throws" his body at the legs of someone. Man, I played high school football and I remember the "fundamentally sound" way of tackling. Grab "rap" arms around target (high or low) and DRIVE!!!! Why the assistant coaches don't "correct" this SOFT Defensive Backfield (minus Bowen) is freakin' beyond me.

If he's scared to tackle Davis, then he should aim low in the first place! It hurts a lot less to leg tackle someone like that then to meet him head on when he's running at full speed.

The proper way to tackle a runner in the open field is to drive the shoulders and wrap the arms around the ankles, all their power is above the knees.

Agreed fella's...I think Terrell is a bitch!!! When it comes to Safety of course!!! I hope he doesn't see this post!!! he might come and arm tackle me or something. Anyway, Ohalete is much better. He's a better hitter, has more heart and is better in coverage.
Ohalete hits and plays with passion. I just don't see that from Terrel.

From what I saw, he made some nice hits here and there but he didn't even play all that much. I can't make a good judgement based on what I saw. I did see Bowen over play Davis on that big run he had. He should've stayed in his lane and forced davis outside where it's alot easier to takle him if he's running sideways.

I see Lott getting more time as FS after that display of tackling. Wasn't he supposed to be the bigger hitter of the 2?

Not impressed at all with the play at Safety. Big surprise.

Hard to judge. I wasn't impressed with defense at all. To put blame on Terrell is absurd. The blame lies on all their sorry butts after that performance. I give props to Antonio Pierce, he caused two forced fumbles. THAT's IT!

Yeah Terrell played with a skirt on during the game, but that dayum Smoot plays with a Tampon, Put Barnes back there, he has a rep as a big hitter and sure tackler, plus he's about 210....
