Special section for Ravens fans?!!
What the? This is part of an email ratbird fans got:
Quote:
On Saturday, August 5th, 2006, the Baltimore Ravens will travel to FedEx Field for a scrimmage with the Washington Redskins.
This event is open to the public and all seating will be General Admission. We have arranged to have an area of the Club and Lower Levels reserved just for Ravens fans and we would like to offer you the opportunity to watch all the action from this area.
A special wristband will be required to access the reserved areas and as a Ravens PSL Owner, we would like to offer you up to one wristband for every PSL you own, while supplies last. If you are interested in accessing this exclusive area, please contact the Ravens Ticket Office at (410) 261-7283 to reserve your wristband(s). Upon calling, please indicate whether you are interested in the club or lower level. You may pick up your wristband(s) beginning Monday, July 17th. Wristbands must be picked up at the M&T Bank Stadium Ticket Office, prior to 5:00 p.m. on August 4th, 2006. Will call will not be available on the day of the event and no wristbands will be mailed.
Parking lots at FedEx Field will open at 9:00 a.m. and the cost is $25 per vehicle. Stadium gates open at 10:30 a.m. and the scrimmage begins at 12:00 p.m.
Again, this event is free. To gain access to the scrimmage you do not need a ticket. However, to enter a reserved area you will need to have a wristband.
We hope you will join us at FedEx Field for an early glimpse of the 2006 Ravens!

I know the CDC likes to keep viruses contained in one area but this is just silly.

They better be in the end zone sections if they are going to have the privilege of reserving seats.

I don't think it a horrible idea actually. It's not like money will be made off of ticket sales so they may as well have as many fans as possible buying refreshments, and since it is a glorified practice, why not give the Ravens fans who are also local some incentive to come watch and more importantly, spend their money to park and eat.

LOL...which I still think is funny considering the Raven's franchise wasn't around when Zubas were being sold. That bares the question; How and where are they getting their pants?!?!?!
Oh, and they also like to dress up in purple pimp outfits.

Don't bring that up. Half their fan base is obsessed with the fact that we still have the Hogettes. I kindly remind them that all their proceeds go to charity and they shut up.

Do you think Danny will also send the short bus to pick them up?

If our fans are forced to take only the upper level seating, they(Ravens fans) should expect some droppings from above.
