Default Dallas O-line Getting Desperate

Apparently they could be bringing in Lincoln Kennedy for a try-out, a 35 year old 380 pounder who hasn't played since 2003.... Wow.

As bad as Pettiti was last year apparently Fabini can't supplant him in the starting lineup and now they're bringing in Kennedy for a try out. Fabini must be finished in the NFL at this point.

And the word at The Ranch is that Al Johnson at center looks like a sieve and was getting owned routinely in practice. I'm sure Kyle Kozier and Marco Rivera were loving that display.

I was always a bit skeptical of all the dirt tossed on the Dallas OL, I thought they could be an average unit this year and get the job done, but Fabini was brought in to upgrade a weakness last year and looks like he won't, while Johnson is still a stiff, and Adams will be compromised at least a bit by his ACL recovery. That's just the way those injuries work.

Right now if I'm a Cowboys fan I'm getting worried.

Here's the Kennedy link... http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=112&p=2&c=551085&ssf=1&RequestedURL=http%3a% 2f%2fstory.scout.com%2fa.z%3fs%3d112%26p%3d2%26c%3 d551085

I hope the situation is as bad as it sounds! I would love to see Carter and Daniels meeting at the QB in week 2!

This is good to hear indeed. That was their downfall last year and needs to be again. I'm sure Terrell Owens could replace him if they really needed to.

yeah but only starting after a devastating loss to one of our starters....Not as a potential upgrade over a very weak line.

Exaclty. And we already figured out it's not gonna work. More power to them if they think Kennedy will work out lol.

Hey, TO's ego can play RT and his mouth can play C. If they can't fix this(and not like I'm hoping they do), then its going to be a LONG year in Big D. The fact that they might consider Kennedy means that Fabini is useless and Pettiti is ***CENSORED BY SPENCE***ty.

Ding, ding, ding.

Good OL-men can last forever, but I wouldn't be too excited about the Skins bringing in an old one that was out of football for even a year.

That said I don't believe the rumors and I fully expect dallass to be a handfull come week 2. It'll take everything we have to beat them, and I am confident that is what we'll give.

Ray Brown is chiseled and limber from all those pilates. Have you seen Lincoln Kennedy? I like the guy but he looks like he ate the previous host of NFL Total Access.

Remember, as Peter Queen and most of the sports writers are saying, Terrell Owens solves all. He's gonna block for the 'Girls, run the ball, pass and catch the ball by himself! (PUHLEEZE!!!!) Why can't these idiots see that the most complete teams in the NFC East are the Redskins and Giants, not the Cowgirls? I know its still early and they "could" find a replacement on the line but if that was one of the most glaring weaknesses going into the off-season and its still a big weakness......(fill in the blank).

Actually lincoln kennedy called the cowboys asking for a tryout. The cowboys made absolutely no contact with him. It was all kennedy wanting to play for a contender. And i thought he was only 33? could be wrong....
