Smoak speaks for me on this subject.
I feel that the team is taking a look at him incase we suffer a Jansen type injury from two years ago and need to know what is out there.

Unless he gave birth sometime since I've last seen him on NFL Network, I don't think he's going to make it.

He did. They call it Pat Kirwin.

I think we have a new contender for World's Ugliest Baby.
I think this is one of those cases where a retired player doesn't really want to leave the game or wants to come back. He misses it, I guess.

While I respect the opinions of many on this site, I'll let Buges decide whether Kennedy could be a worthy backup or not.....
I'm not very impressed with what we have so far as backup offensive linemen.

There is a vast difference between an old guy like Ray Brown that impeccably takes care of his body and an old slob like this. We do need depth and this kennedy does have valid experience but i hope this is a last option, because as many have said I would really like to for us to find some decent youth to develop.

Ray Brown was a freak of nature - he worked out religiously and took care of himself.
Lincoln Kennedy will not get past the very first look without that sort of physical conditioning, workout ethic and continued intensity.
Still, it speaks a lot to the teams chances that this guy is willing to leave his cushy NFL Channel digs to give the Redskins a look.

The NFL Network just reported the Lincoln is trying to make his come back with the Cowgirls, not the Skins. Adam Schefter reported that he was in the Cowboys facility this morning.
