They are sized bigger than normal shirts. I am a 2XL but XL jerseys fit me well. They are 100% polyester, so they don't shrink. You wash them cold anyway, if you wash them, I don't after the numbers started chipping on my Cooley jersey.

The secret with washing the replicas is to turn them inside out, and hand wash them using Woolite or similar. I've washed mine many times, and they still look new. Even after a bird crapped on my Ramsey jersey at the SF game.
I guess the bird knew what I didn't yet.
