Default Labor day weekend game updates

Well first of all, we had a WHACK game against Bowie for a couple of reasons...

1) They changed the time on us at the last minute from 1:30 to 12:15.

2) Then Bowie's 75lb (which we were playing)and our 85lb were ready to play at the same time but we weren't ready to play. (until Our scheduled time)...
3) Then thier coach tells us that we gotta get ready to play ASAP. We told him we'll be ready by 1:00, then he sends people over to us twice while we're warming up, trying yp hurry us up. Were kinda uncoordinated because our kids are coming to the field not late but now late because of the game change. We were ready to say forget it...but we pressed on anyway. Then we only played a half becasue of the time issue....truley whack

We did have a 99 yard TD called back.
Isaiah was 1 for 3 for 30 yards. he was sacked twice. One play was a pass Interference call.

4) Lastly, we lost 2-0 due to our center forgot the snap. He snapped it on set, when the count was on 1. The second string qb (Kid that ran 99 yards) froze and just stood there Isaiah was at the flanker position, yelled at the qb to run. Bowie tackled him and there was the saftey......

Whenever you play Bowie, remember you're playing the team and the refs. You will never get a call over there.

Cannot abide by teams that mess up the schedule on you, sometimes the parents aren't even there yet and the game has already started....not to mention that kids at this age need structure, not a change in plans, it makes them nervous.

Sorry to hear about the loss, doesn't seem fair....

PS: Our game was postponed because of the rain.

My son playing JV soccer should have had his first game tonight, but that's been postponed as well

the terps games were moved to a field with turf last weekend so that the games could be played. once again, all three teams were victorious in a big way. i was honestly hoping the games would be postponed because the weather sucked on saturday, lol.

7-9: 24-7, jordan played well and had a maddenesque run with two straight stiff arms to the opposition to gain more yards.

9-11: 21-0, xavier has numerous pancakes on some kids that were admittedly smaller than him. then again, most of the kids are smaller than him, lol. he kicked off short and made a touchdown saving tackle at the terp 30 yd line and had his teammates bail him out by intercepting the warrriors QB in the endzone.

10-12: 39-0, antonio made an immediate impact in his first game this season, but slicing through the warriors OL and laying a hard hit on the RB, forcing a fumble.
