Well, he dropped another sure INT this week. That kid needs to grow some hands.

Good article CNY, as usual.
As I was saying earlier today, we should think about moving Campbell to #2 because wuite frankly, the only thing more depressing than our current state that I can think of is Collins coming in to replace Brunell. And whether we are up by alot or down by alot, we really should start giving Campbell some playing time.

true but TO had like 18 yards and i saw him make some nice tackles...one thing people have to remember its alot harder making catches as a cb than a wr cause you know the play as a wr..cb's are just guessing when you turn your head and a ball is 10 feet from you coming at like 60 mph its hard to make a play..i think thats what happened last night

Thus why he was a corner and not a wide receiver. Owens may have had 18 yards but Rumph was covering him alot as well as Rogers. Rogers had a couple of blown coverages that were dropped by the receiver during the last two games. He needs to step it up.

Yeah you and me were and are in agreement on the bogus make everyone happy backup QB plan.

The thing that was missing from that plan was "what to do in the event Brunell is not injured, but just sucks beyond belief"..unfortunately that is exactly what is happening. And I don't understand why Vince Young, who was supposed to be completely unprepared for the NFL, sees action in his first game ever, while Campbell can't come in even to hand it off a couple of times when we are losing hopelessly, in his second season.

Sometimes sitting a Qb can light a fire under their Arse as well. M Benching Brunell in 2004 gave him the fire for 2005. I am not saying we dump him for the season, but make him think he NEEDS to play well. The guy is a competitor and will step up o the mantle.

Very good stuff cny, though i disagree on rogers. I thought he played a decent game, considering he is a #2 corner playing #1 receivers.

You dont spend the 9th pick pick in the draft for a number two corner. But apperently we did.
