Default Looking towards the Texans...

Forget about last week...time to focus on the Texans. Here is some news concerning their players:

Texans | Flanagan's status for Week 3 uncertain
Mon, 18 Sep 2006 19:21:22 -0700

Houston Texans C Mike Flanagan (foot) is listed as day-to-day and his status for the Week 3 game is uncertain. C Steve McKinney would start at center if Flanagan can not play.

Texans | Buchanon might miss Week 3
Mon, 18 Sep 2006 19:21:04 -0700

Houston Texans CB Phillip Buchanon (ankle) might miss the team's Week 3 game with an ankle sprain.

We absolutely must win this game. Hail to the Redskins.

im not calling anything a gimme until this team gets theore stuff together, but is one they are supposed to win. good teams win games they are supposed to win. with that said, from what i saw of david carr against philly is that he can pick you apart if he has time. this would be a good week for the DL to get into the action.

we have to get in a rhythm, and keep adding to it, even if we do catch stride and run up the score

Using my secret computer powers, I just traced the newbie to a Dell laptop registered to one J. Campbell, Ashburn VA.

I think Campbell has more class than this guy.

We have gotta bring the house this week at young David Carr. He is a good QB but their O-line is in shambles. They do have 2 of the better receivers in the league in Johnson and Moulds but I don't respect their running game too much. Lundy hasn't done too much and Gado is not a bonafide starter either.

On offense we must find our running game. Maybe that will cure Brunell's passing. It wouldn't hurt to go deep every now and then too.

However, we still cannot take them lightly. We are 0-2 and must realize that there are no gimmes in the NFL. We must beat them at all costs. Even though this is week 3 make no mistakes about it, it is a must win!!

we are struggling and on the road wins are hard to come by no matter what.. they played philly tough for about a quarter and then folded.. we cannot let them gain confidence by hanging around.. some time consuming drives to take th elife out of them plus a couple of sacks on carr to bury their offense.
and above all, no cheap TD's to johnson..

It's a road game and like usual we are not getting to the QB. Carr is in for a good game. The way we are playing right now we will be lucky to come out of the first half of the season 2-6. Second half I think our offense will start click a little more. Maybe we go 5-3 to end the year with a grand total of 8-8. Houston has a great shot of beating us. I think we will come out fired up though which could help take the crowd out of it if we get the lead early.
