Post Campbell or Romo

Who do you think will have more success down the road. Jason Campbell or Tony Romo? Do you think they will become rivals?

Only time will tell but I am looking forward to 10 years of battles between Campbell, Romo, and Eli.

You can't ask that question now, and certainly not here.

From what i've seen so far, i'd have to go with Homo..er....Romo.

As much as it pains me to say it, Romo has looked very, very good. Campbell has only one start so far. Hopefully he'll have success, which i'm hopeful he will.

But what if you compare their respective first starts? And consider that Campbell will be playing without Portis and with a horrid defense? Like I said, it's WAY to early to judge.

Yeah too early...but romo seemingly has less turmoil in the lockerroom then Campbell...and they have TO. How did it come to this?

Anyone who follows Bledsoe looks brilliant (like Brady). If we see JC in the shotgun some more, then great things will happen. I predict many years of great competition between Romo and Campbell.

this is what im thinking. give campbell more than just one start before we can compare him to anybody else. cause right now id have to go with romo. and i dont want that.

Uhhhh thats a bold statement there. Campbell hasnt even played in a real offense yet. His 1st start was mostly dinks and dunks and most of his stats game when the defense is in prevent.

Romo was thrown into the full fire from his 1st series of live game action and has succeeded.

Not saying your right or wrong but its pretty bold to say campbell is anywhere near as good as Romo.

no question they will become rivals.. romo has 2 years experience on JC, but inthe long run i think JC has more physical ability.
should be a good rivalry

but in the end, it is the overall teams that will determine success

romo has had 4 years to become a starter and nobody was saying much before this year... he has played well, but JC has by far the better overall pedigree.. big time player on a big time team.. not saying that romo won't have success but he was undrafted for a reason

The redskins are a bigtime team? LOL

By "physical talent" your basically talking about 40 times and bench presses. I could care less if Campbell can run a faster 40 or a quicker cone drill. The way Romo moves in the pocket, shakes off defenders, and makes plays on the run is matched by few QB's in the NFL and IMO Jason Campbell isnt one of them. Yet anyways.

By Pedigree your basically talking about draft position and hype. Tom Brady barely got drafted and had no hype entering the league and look what hes done. Eli Manning was the 1st overall pick and as much hype as about anyone to ever enter the league and whats he have a 74 QB rating?

And you really want to know hte reason Romo wasnt drafted? He dropped his CELL PHONE on draft day and he called someone to make sure it worked and it did. But what he didnt know was incoming calls werent working so he sat there for 2 days without a single ring. After the draft he signed with Dallas and teams were just lining up and begging for him to reconsider. Eventually he checked his voicemails and he made multiple voicemails from 29 NFL teams.

So there you have it the reason Romo wasnt drafted...... HE DROPPED HIS CELL PHONE!
