Ittt defends ooin....okay, enough of that...it depends on who their coach is and what they do with Porter and Moss. If they dump them both and get a QB who is halfway decent, then I think they'll go Johnson here. If they keep them both and end up not getting anyone decent at QB, then Russell should be the pick. Whether they will do the smart thing no matter what is a 50/50 proposition. I'm expecting them to trade both Moss and Porter and either target someone in round 2 or end up with a QB in FA like Tim Rattay and draft a kid like Trent Edwards in round 2.

This is the Rayduz though. Anything like that would make too much sense.

Also, Colt Brennan is a possibility in round two, if he chooses to stay declared.

Clemson Community College? LOL That's Klempsun.

I'd be surprised if the Skins didn't take Jamaal Anderson or Gaines Adams.

i was not sold on russell, but he really showed something in the last bowl game.. he looks like the real deal.. for them to pass on both him and quinn to take another "sure thing" receiver, well, you just never know..

after all they did take tim brown with the first overall pick so it is not without precedent for them.. still, rattay is not a long term answer.. refuse from across the bay.. had chris simms been out there i could have seen them taking a shot at him.. maybe griese if he is available ???

despite the needs at receiver if they dump porter and moss, i think qb is the greatest need of all. they have won with recycled vets like plunkett and gannon, but i think the lure of a franchise qb will be too great to pass on..

I buy Anderson before Adams. Don't get me started on Adams.

or branch, if he slips by tampa at 5... i think the skins might trade down from 6 to 8... but only if all 3 (anderson, branch, adams) are still there so they would be assured of getting a top rated d lineman.

i think the skins are going to fill the LB need with adelius thomas, briggs or fletcher because GW wont use a rookie linebacker no matter how great he is.. and the greater need is for a premier defensive lineman anyway...
