I'm waiting on the Dolphins date. I may need as many as 5 tickets for that game.

I really don't understand how they don't have the schedule figured out yet. They had a schedule release show planned for the NFL Network on Thursday (ESPN was having a show too). What could possibly cause a delay at this point?

They're trying to figure out how to get us to play Tampa again in Tampa without anyone noticing.

Good point! Or they're trying to find a way to give the Giants 9 home games w/o noticing. Argh! I was looking forward to a nice b-day gift as the schedule was coming out on my b-day. So much for that.

Keino has no problems with our annual date in Tampa Bay. Which I don't blame him one bit.

LOL, they even brought in a former giant, Ernie Accorsi, to approve the schedule!

They postponed the release so the computer could attempt a few more tries at giving the Skins as many games as possible against teams coming off their bye weeks.

uhm now we know why it was delayed

One notable change that first-year commissioner Roger Goodell has made is to solicit more input. For instance, long-time NFL general manager Ernie Accorsi, who retired from the New York Giants earlier in the offseason, recently visited the NFL offices to peruse the schedule.
|
Apparently the NY Giants want three bye weeks so they can play their away games in conference after each bye.

Too much of a disadvantage. Why not just give them 11 home games this year.

and the J-E-T-S fans are up in arms! Once again they are the red headed stepchild of the NFL. How dare they force the J-E-T-S to play 11 road games.
