NFL Schedule Release
Tomorrow apparently...
http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5974
From the bengals apparently, so I don't know. It'd sure be a crime if they lied to us and the Bengals wouldn't do that.

The NFL didn't want to announce the schedule the same day as they announced the suspensions of Jones and Henry.
I've been chomping at the bit to see this year's schedule. Please, give the Redskins all 1PM Sunday games.

Why 1pm? Tailgating is so much better at the 4pm games since you don't have to be up at the butt crack of dawn!

I like being home by 6PM, getting a little time with my family and being able to watch the later games. Also, It gets cold when the sun goes down in December.
One more thing, less drunken idiots at the early games.

Nothing is definite once the schedule comes out. Danny has been known to "volunteer" changing 1pm games to 4pm games in the middle of the season.
I also like the 1pm games, b/c you can cook breakfast at the tailgate. YUM!

well the 4pm switch is only to move a game so it can be the Nationally televised game...only if the Redskins are doing well will that happen.

Our scheduling was pretty brutal last year. We played 3 or 4 teams coming off their bye week, and 2 of them were NFC East rivals. Let's hope we do better than that, but I wouldn't be surprised if we didnt.

The whole NFC East had a brutal schedule last year, I actually thought we had it easier than everyone but the Cowboys. As it turned out, everyone but us made the playoffs. I think even at the halfway point, we were only a game or two out of first place but we ended up where we deserved to be, unfortunately.
Point being, you can't read too much into the schedule, because you have no idea where your team will be at during any point of it.

I totally forgot how brutal our schedule was. Other than our bye coming @ a good time for us, we got screwed. They have to take that into consideration this year. I would love to see Dallas @ FedEx Week 1 @ 1.

Oh, absolutely. Being an awful team didn't help our efforts either. But even last year we were among the first in strength of schedule. It seems like we always are. And it's no guarantee that the teams on our schedule will be as good, or as bad, as they were last year.

That was my observation. Salt in the wound, was the injuries prior to the game, the play of some players by the time the game arrived and the position we left ourselves in, in the process. It was truly an important learning experience on how to approach games better this year. that many bye games always suck!

Agree on all counts including DJ's breakfast comment.... Great, now I'm hungry.
