I think it is because of a fairly administered salary cap. Every team spends the same (more or less). The proof is in the pudding, 5 different champions in the last 5 years.

without a doubt.
The salary cap is why too...salary cap is a GREAT thing. If only baseball would follow NFL's lead and become a sport that others truely LOVE to watch.

The MAIN REASON why it is so HARD to repeat as Champions in the NFL is this:

You win the Superbowl. Anyone who made a significant difference in that game (or thru out the season) wants a HUGE increase in pay or wants their contract re-negotiated.......

So there you have it........Now it angers me somewhat that some of these Players in the NFL want larger contracts.........I believe (i cannot say without any amount of certainty) that your 3rd string players make an average of $90,000-$100,000 a year......If you happen to have the TALENT to be a starter you could have say a larger contract with a FAR LARGER sum spread across 2-7yrs.

Now most of these Starting Players make more money in 4yrs than i will make in my lifetime......so.......they have little reason to complain..........

Moving right along...........

I'll be the odd ball I suppose. I believe it is the NCAA basketball tournament. With all of the turnover in players from year to year, plus all it takes is one bad outing in the tournament and you'll have a different champion.

That is why I think the NCAA basketball is hardest to repeat.

Yeah, but in PROFESSIONAL sports, I think everyone agrees that American football is the toughest.

The league minimum is $225,000 a year. So even the pine riders make that much!

It should be, you sign a contract...you honor it...period end of discussion.
