All this talk about the last play is certainly understandable and important. But the reasons we lost the game go so much deeper.
No game can be reduced to any single play as the reason for a win/loss, so optimistically it could be said that this team sleep walked through the second half and was still 1 yard away from tieing the score.

Levity........?

Bueller....???

crickets.........????

i understand and agree with most of the points made in this thread - however if u r like me u feel like the first half of the game belonged to the Skins because they played their butts off -- most especially on defense which of course eases the load on the offense -- so.... IMO that begs the question "who really let us down?" in my humble opinion, CP was hurt a bit when he layed the block -- Moss was not 100% either -- Jason showed us that he needs a little more time to be able to read the defense and to be able to pick out options on the field rather than just automatically going with first choice (he is still young) the O-line needs to work out the difficulties they are facing with injuries and DUMB penalties, the defense has got to find a way to be consistantly effective on PASS defense(if this were my defense to run we would have at least i player on his way to disrupt the QB on EVERY down)-- way too soft on secondary coverage -- linebackers should not have to play off the line in order to back up our secondary on every down -- hope this doesn't sound like bashing, its not! and in other news GREAT PLAY BY SPECIAL TEAMS

If he fails to make a change over the bye week, I will more than likely be finished with this coaching staff for good.
He didn't sign a deal that would make him the head coach. He signed a deal that will give him extra money if he's not the head coach.

Yeah, all of 1 million dollars. I'm sure/hope Snyder has the check ready to go.

Go over to ES, where you can bitch and insult people to your heart's content. We don't stand for that kind of crap here, and if you can't figure out where you got into trouble with your posts to begin with ...then that's only further proof that you don't belong.

CYA!
that one will fit right in at ES - there are some very knowledgeable people there too but... its just different
