Playoff Rooting Card: Week 16
Ok I have done this week's playoff rooting card. And for you poker players, I broke our chances down poker style.

Thanks CNY. I was looking forward to this, I actually checked to see if you had posted it like 20 minutes ago, haha. It's like CliffsNotes for the Redskins' playoff hopes!

Nice work CNYSkinFan! This is the "N F L" - Not For Long - League...it's all a one and done scenario... Our Beloved Team needs to win the remaining two games... one loss = one and done!

I think the only way we get in (assuming we win out, of course), is if the Giants lose their last two. That is our best hope. They are actually playing teams who should have something to play for: Buffalo is in the playoff hunt and needs this win desperately, and hopefully New England will still be playing for the perfect season.
There's little hope of the Saints losing. Philly COULD beat them, but now that they've been eliminated, they might mail it in. Chicago is downright horrific. The Saints will probably roll through their next two games.
So, pull for Buffalo and the Patriots big time this weekend. It is our only hope...

Buffalo is actually eliminated from the playoff race I believe due to their loss this last week. But the players are playing for jobs, espescially the qbs. And they are at home. So hopefully they will still play with a sense of pride...and if the Bills get up early the Giants will start pressing.

mcnabb has something to prove.. westbrook is playing for a bigger contract.
they will show up
chicago will beat no one as long as orton is the qb.. what a waste last night. with either griese or rex they would have beaten the vikings
buffalo still has an outside shot, so it remains to be seen which giant team shows up
we need to take care of the vikes. the rest will fall into place if we do...

Yep, you're right. That's what I get for listening to the resident Bills fan here at work. He said they control their own destiny. I guess that's true if he's talking about where they'll be deciding to watch the playoffs.
That stinks - at least it's in Buffalo. Hopefully it'll snow.

their d line gave our o line fits... more than almost anyone else this year.
if they can bring that kind of pressure against eli they have a solid chance

I also kinda want GB to lose this week, though they won't lose to the Bears again....Dallas gets their home field, and doesn't have to play their starters long, let them rest and it'll be easier to beat them

with orton, and with adrian peterson (the lesser) and with an aging and porous offensive line the bears might be the worst offensive team in the nfl right now.
no chance if GB just shows up

I'm still concerened we may miss the playoffs, although I hope I'm wrong. I dont see NY losing to Buffalo but they'll lose to NE. I also think that Philly can beat NO but Chi can't. That would mean we need to beat Minny(possible I suppose) and then beat Dallas(not so sure). Thing is with Philly beating them, Dallas will probably be trying to secure home field advantage and nothing has changed about our secondary since they torched it last time and we dont have the more mobile JC at QB either...
