There is no greater rivalry in sports than Cowboys-Redskins. It matters not the records of the teams when they meet, it is almost ALWAYS a war! And this time, we expect no different.

But something happened this year on the way to the war...something tragic and devastating to both Redskins and Cowboys fans. That infamous event was the senseless murder of a young, promising father and player...Sean Taylor

During the period of suffering and grief, two rival team boards reached out and touched each other...transcending sports, football, team allegiances, and even the great rivalry. Out of that touching of humanity came new friendships, respect, and a new cherished affiliation.

There is no site, to forum, no blog that expressed their grief to hailRedskins.com more than our partners at Cowboyspride.net. To them, this was not a murder of a NFL star, of a Redskin, but of a PERSON a HUMAN BEING. AND to may of us HERE at hR, this site provided exceptional and stunning comfort to us, as they shared the grief of a fallen star. To that, I as a person at hailRedskins.com, an Admin, and a Fan, can never express my gratitude and thanks enough. Thank you Deb, thank you Reg, thank you cowboyspride.net!

This will be a wierd game for me...wanting to beat you guys but hoping that none of our starters even put their jocks on. I really hate it that the Cowboys have nothing to play for yet the Redskins have their very playoff fate to play for. Frankly this sucks!
