HELP - Out-of-Town
Ok, so I know there have been topics made about this and such, but it's the night before the game, I'm in pretty much the only part of the country where FOX isn't broadcasting the game, I'm not old enough to go into a sports bar (as far as I know), and I'm not really sure how this whole P2P online TV thing works. I'm freakin' out, man.
To make a long story short, I'm in the San Francisco area visiting relatives, and I thought that FOX would be showing the game here (that's reasonable, it's supposed to be a NATIONAL broadcast). As it turns out, the San Francisco FOX affiliate is the only one in the country not broadcasting a 4:00 game. I'd go to a sports bar, but I'm not 21 so I'm not sure if I'd be able to go in or not, and I don't want to be a burden on my hosts in making them take me to one. As far as options go, that leaves me with watching a live stream online, and I have absolutely no idea how those work despite having read instructions for them. So, what I'm asking is that if someone here knows how to do this, could you please give me a walkthrough of how to tune in to the game? I guess I could listen to Larry Michael, but I'd like to actually see the game and know what's going on.
Thanks in advance.

Best thing I can recommend is going to channelsurf.net. The streamline games every week. They will have this game I can promise you.

You can go to a sports bar, just like anyone else, as long as you order some food. You will be carded if you tried to order alcohol and then they could ask you to leave but you do not have to be of legal drinking age to be there. Most restaurants that become drinking age only clubs, do not do so until after 9-10 PM.

That may be the case, but I'd still rather not force my aunt or uncle to drive me there. I think they have plans tomorrow and I don't want to screw them up.
CarMike: I'll definitely give that a shot tomorrow, thanks.

If you said you were > 81 and not < 21 I would understand. First of all, you're in the generation that played with video games and programming (writing code) the way many of my generation played with trucks and sandlot football. Secondly, San Fran is like 30 mins from the Silicon Valley so you're in the technology hub of the world - save for Mumbai and Bangalor - so big pipes for broadband won't be an issue. Thirdly, someone there should be able to walk you thru streaming vid; it's quite easy. You have the instructions so I would go thru them step-by-step. Finally, and most importantly, I lived in San Fran a while ago. If you can't stream, go to a local sports bar and they'll accommodate you unless you're like 8 y/o or something. If nothing else have someone > 21 take you. But San Fran is a good sports city. They'll let you sit in the bar as long as you're not sitting AT the bar. I hope I've presented some outta-the-box workarounds for you. Good luck!!!
Hail.

Forgive me, this is the first time I've been in this situation and I'm not exactly a wiz when it comes to streaming things. As for the bar, I don't think I'd have too much trouble (I'm 18, not 8) and the issue is getting there without screwing up other people's plans. Watching on my computer would make things a whole lot simpler.

If I were you, I would find a place showing the game but I am stuck in my old ways. If you have good internet access, then you probably can find something.
I'll be at the game and I will do a shot in your honor, in hopes that you can watch. How's that, Biggie? That will put you there in spirit!

Dude, that would be fantastic! I wish I could be there, and no matter how I follow the game, I'll be rocking my #21.
CarMike: I got channelsurfing.net to work with the Pats game so I think I should be set there. Thank you!

You'd better make that two shots, I need one too.
I am running out of ways to watch this game as I cannot get any of the online streams to work because I use a mac and not a pc. I hate the fact that the streams are not mac friendly no matter what you download... I may be stuck listening to it on the radio but last week that link only worked ten minutes of every half anyway... Maybe you better make that three shots, I made need two.

Rich, make that 3 shots. Unless they show the game on my Ryanair flight from Rome to Valencia, I'm definitely NOT gonna be able to see it.
Edit: Or, if Tony wants 2 shots for himself, make that 4.

I really don't think a bar in San Francisco would refuse service to an 18 year old man for any reason. Here's an Eagles bar that will surely have it: Jakes Steaks. Can't find a Redskins bar anywhere.

Alright, I'm going to have to have a group shot where each person toasts one of you guys that are missing the game or I'll be missing the game too, in a drunken stupor.
Biggie, Spicy and a double for Melo, anyone else need to be spirited in?

Who?
J/K, he'll at least be watching the game at his home but I'll spill some beer in his honor.
