Default Shaun Rogers and Dewayne Robertson on the Block?

Dude's a stud pass-rushing DT, but likely won't come cheap...John Clayton updated recently on ESPN.com what Detroit is seeking and it might include a first day (at least) pick and some sort of a veteran player.
Is he worth a #2 and, say, McIntosh, or would he cost more...and is anyone here interested?

Talented he is, but at the end of last year he was also playing 1 down a series because he was so out of shape. Maybe a hard nosed coach like Blatche could light a fire, but experience tells me that people rarely change and while he can be one of the best, he's also lazy. No thanks.

Unless they are gonna throw in a garauntee from weight watchers and a side of self motivation...I wouldnt give up anything above round 5 for him.

Fat, out of shape & inconsistent motor that doesn't counterbalance his talent, IMO. The only trade I would consider is for Brandon Lloyd, so no thanks.

They supposedly have interest in Julius Jones and DeShaun Foster. I doubt anyone would give a third for Betts, but if we could get it, in a heartbeat.

Oh, and I would totally take Shaun Rogers from a sheer talent standpoint, but in a practical sense there's no way I'd want to give up the picks or the dollars he'd command. Dude is a mountain, though.

isn't barber a restricted free agent as well? plus the draft has some people.

I expected cadallac would share the carriers this year coming off injury, but to be done, man they got a quick hook out there in tampa (simms, now this guy). but they must know something about his injury.

Jets' Robertson is also available.

My thoughts on trading a pick for a player we need to turn around and give big $$$ are well known. Get a DT in the draft or FA.

i think robertson is a better player.. still i would not want to have him at the cost of any kind of significant pick

I'll say no to both. I'd like this team to improve during the offseason. I had originally wanted Rogers, but I don't think he'll ever be motivated enough to dominate. Sure being out of shape he could just be rotated, but at what cost? He's gonna want too much money.

And Dewayne Robertson has proved absolutely nothing on this league, so discussing him wouldn't be very good.
