Puttin your money where your mouth is . . .NFL Betting: Washington Redskins NFC East
Quote:
The second Joe Gibbs era ended this off-season without the success of the first. While Gibbs certainly showed that the game had not totally passed him by (two playoff appearances in four years), he was not able to led the Redskins to the Super Bowl. Unlike previous hires, the Redskins opted for a fresher face to replace Gibbs. Former Seattle quarterback Jim Zorn was given the task of returning the team to past glory. NFL Betting odds at BodogLife.com are currently giving Zorn and the Redskins 35/1 odds of doing that.

Fairly glowing endorsements given the question marks we have. Either way, last year, our odds of winning it all were 40:1, so they are giving us a better chance this year.

I wouldn't bet on this team personally... I hope I feel better coming out of camp, but the fact is we have an unknown at coach (who I like), a developing QB, and a lack of "star players"...

I agree. I'm hopeful but also realistic.

Isn't that why it's called gambling?
But I agree with the sentiment -- I haven't purchased SuperBowl tickets.

Well if you get the chance to buy them, you might want to do it. Even if the Skin's don't go, pretty good investment

I love the Skins, but there is no way I'd bet any money on them winning the SB this year. In fact, until I see some onfield performances, I wouldn't even consider betting on them winning the NFC or NFCE. The NFCE is just too darn competitive right now.

Put $100 on them to win the NFC Championship and the winnings pay for the trip to the Super Bowl. Also put $100 on them to win the Super Bowl and make it rain after they win with 3,500 $1 bills.

Ok maybe $10 which will pay for the beer at the party I'd have!
Little more realistic bet!
