Default FYI...Tidewater Sports and Collectables

If you live in the Hampton Roads Area or will be in the area in the next couple of weeks, Tidewater Sports and Collectables are closing their stores and as of right now everything is 50% off and there may even more taken off in the next couple of weeks.

The plan is to have the all their stores closed by labor day. I was in the one at McArthur Mall today and they have all sorts of signed Jerseys and signed Replica Helmets and mini helmets. I saw Charlie Taylor, Neil Olkaweitz, Joe Washington, Gary Clark etc... If you're into autographed memorabilia you can get these items for under 100 dollars.

For instance a mini helmet signed by Clark for 60 dollars is going for 30. A jersey signed by Chris Hanburger was like 160 so its going for 80.
I think they already closed the Chesapeake store but if you're going to go I'd probably try calling first.

Here is a link to the locations and phone numbers

They also have Nascar stuff, Baseball crap and College sports.

I bought a Redskins Christmas tree skirt because we're going with a Redskins Christmas theme this year. Got it for 23, normally around 46 bucks.
I may go back but I needed to stay within my Redskins budget today and had already bought a couple of T shirts from the Redskins store and a Skins Jacket for my sister.

While I have a thread open, here is a couple of other things I've purchased recently. These are from the Danbury Mint. I haven't received them yet but thought I'd share the link

I ordered the two stadiums at the bottom of the page and there is also a pretty cool Theisman figurine on the first page.

I have the Theismann figurine and the Hogs group. Both are very well made and relatively durable except Joe lost the pinky on his throwing hand from my son.

The Danbury Mint is the stuff. I have the two stadiums and they look great, and if they weren't $75 a pop I'd have a larger collection. But you gotta have RFK and FedEX.
