Default Who Is The Weakest Link

Let me first say. I like Jon Jansen as a person and he will always be a redskin!!

But IMO it is time to move on. I would love to see him as a backup. So the question is who do you think is the weakest link on the offensive line ??

If Jansen was to be replaced who would you go with Heyer, Wade etc. Can Rinehart play RT ??

Jansen is the weakest link now, but the guy is coming off a season ending injury. I'm really hoping he starts playing better since I don't think any of our backups can play RT better than him.

he is deffinitly the weakest link on the offense, and is beginning to tidier on becoming a liability out there. THat being said he is better then whoever would replace him, heyer (hasn't practiced that much, and when did play actually looked worst then last year), and Wade who is just on the down slope and continuing to fall. Rienhart is a rookie, and i personally would like him to learn this year, and play in spot duty at most.

So, like i said, he is the weakest link, but better then any body who would take his place IMO

hopefully he gets control of his legs.. his pass protection is terrible. right now we dont have a better option.
got to hope that randy thomas stays healthy. with thomas playing well, jansen's liabilities are minimized.. with someone like fabini next to him
it is bad to contemplate what could happen

dont know if it is my eye sight, or my new big screen t.v., but when jansen was coming off the field at half time of the game, was thinking how big and fat he looked, cant remember him ever looking out of shape like he did and really looked old , sad to see this because he has been one of my favorites players ever since he has been here, as they say all good things have to end one day, looks like that time is soon for him.

I'll only begin to get concerned about Jansen if there is deterioration in his play come regular season. Coming off major injury take sometime to get the confidense back and that's what preseason for him this year.

And those people would be morons. Anybody who thinks these guys were going to destroy the league this year were fooling themselves or ignorant.

WR draft picks take time ( READ: one or two years) before they make a meaningful contribution. I'll give them a pass... FOR NOW!
I give Jansen a pass, FOR NOW, for the exact reason of returning from an injury and adjusting and testing play in the pre season.

Jansen has always looked weak in the PS, yet somehow he managed to come out solid in the regular season.

I think he's on the downside of his career. Can he improve enough to be on the starting team? I don't think so.

I think we'll see different people rotating it into that position. Rhinehart may be a rookie, but I think he may get thrown into the fire....

I think Jansen will be fine... Rinehart and Heyer are certainly not upgrades at the position at this point in time. I honestly think its a position we will need to address in free agency next year. There are always good tackles available.

Heyer, no question. He's already had starting experience and is more athletic than Wade. Rinehart has better potential, but no for this season. Wade is gone, IMO.

I was gonna post something on this, this week....but you beat me to it....

if I can recall I remember Janson getting pumbled the last time he played... He didn't look good at all. IMO he's not looking all that great this year....i'm not giving him a pass cause he gives good interviews and is on the TV every two seconds. I may be wrong but many people are giving him a pass because he is considered mr redskin. well I don't. His pass blocking seems like he getting worse and worse as we go on...

That position will be a glaring need by the need of the season....
