Default The Final 53: Final Guess

I have done my final guess of the roster. Along with my thoughts on starters and depth chart I also try and guess at the PS makeup.

The Final 53: Final Guess

I don't really see Marcus Mason cracking the roster. IMO he's like Rock Cartwright, only Rock returns kicks as well. I think we could use the roster spot to beef up our often-injured offensive and defensive lines.

I agree that Kelly gets PUPd.

I think his spot goes to Crummey, Boschetti, or a free agent WR.

Speaking of Boschetti...what on earth happened under his arm during the game? Looked like he took a bullett in there! The cameras got a great shot from the sidelines and it was bleeding like crazy; and after they bandaged it, the blood kept seeping through.

Anyway, I'll miss watching that ball-batting-bastard this season...

Coach Zorn almost stated that Kelly gets PUPd or IRd during the presser.

I think that is a possibility, but I can not put that there yet until it happens. THey could also see how he goes. I doubt he will go PUP, more likely IR. Kelly and Wade should be wary...difference is wade is going to lose his job, Kelly will get another shot next year.

I think Maurice Mann will get Malcolm Kelly spot on the roster, just because he has been playing so much on special teams, i think Kelly will be on the IR before too long. Marcus Mason will make the team, there gonna find a spot for him and he earned it. I dont think Rock is a lock to make the team, they tried Devin Thomas and Mann back there returning kicks, they even tried Mason back there and with Mason outplaying every other RB in preseason i dont know if we will keep Rock. Jansen is playing like a guy who doesnt know his career is over, hes not very good anymore and watching him struggle just pains me, its unfortunate, he really is a true Redskin. Goodbye Devine. I think Frost will keep his spot and Swish has looked great. I think alot of suprises are coming as far as cuts go, some real big suprises.

I dont see any "advantages" of us putting Kelly on IR. Why not PUP him? we can always IR him between week 7-10 if we dont think he's going to get better. PUPing him allows us to have our cake and eat it to.

That said, I really wish we had gone Sweed instead of Kelly with our third 2nd rounder. He had far fewer question marks. I never really expected Thomas to contribute much this year, so it would have been much safer to pick an Sweed, who has almost identical strenghts as Kelly, but with far less downside health-wise.

i think it probably says a lot that Palermo was on our coaching staff while we decided not to take Calais.

Default How many on PS

How many can you put on PS?
Is it really 8?

With PS players have to clear waivers before you can put them on PS, right?
