Default a ramsey believer

I've got to say...Ramsey is looking impressive. Amazing courage in the pocket! He is making me a believer!!!!!
He looked like a seasoned vet...including learning his lesson from the 4 fumbles from the first two games. When the pressure got there he protected the ball. VERY IMPRESSIVE. It's a shame we had 9 dropped balls.

9 dropped passes - UFB. There has to be a reason why - does Patrick throw with too much zip?

its funny because before the season, other fans and some football analysts were saying well what good is getting laveranues coles if he has no one to throw to him.......now after week 3, we have the #1 ranked offense in the league and our qb and wr lead the league in yards.....

I know from playing myself, that a team can get a case of "the droppsies" It's awful and you can't seem to shake it. Even your best player can help but come down with it.

the only thing you can do is try to play through it and hope you have built up an amunity to it, so it doesn't happen to you (and hopefully happens to the other team next time it "drops" by.

I have also been very impressed with Patrick this year he has shown alot of maturity and has seemed very cool in the pocket. I was amazed at how he handled a bad snap late in the game yesterday and never missed a beat. And how about that run up the middle.

Hard to understand. Ramsey whips the ball in there, but they do catch most of them. I'd blame lack of concentration by the receivers, if I had to guess. A few seem to spend as much time jawing at cornerbacks as they do looking for a catch. We've got a very talented receiving corps. They need to do their talking with their play. I notice Laveranues Coles, who has dropped a few, does manage to play without taunting the other team. If he can do it, why can't Gardner and McCants do the same?

Ramsey has been impressive this season, remember it is very early in his career, Gus as you recall started with the same cool and confidence in the pocket. Hopefully Ramsey is the real deal.

Coles dropped one that he had. When he bought it down, it hit his knee. Gardner dropped one that was in his chest.

Not only am I very impressed with Ramsey, McCants is showing me a thing or two as well.
I just thought of McCants more of an after thought...but did you see some of his catches? And that one handed grab? Amazing.

Yes, it's his size and they were creating some mismatches with him. I believe it was DJ who said he would be used in goalline stances and he was correct.

Was not Prisco a Ramsey doubter????

Here is his latest Ramsey comment;

"Washington lost a game, but Patrick Ramsey showed for the second consecutive week he is going to be tough to defend. Ramsey showed a lot of poise in rallying the Redskins to tie the Giants before losing in overtime. Ramsey finished with 348 yards passing with two touchdowns. He will put up big numbers this season. Lake, there is a big difference between Ramsey and Frerrote. Frerrote was a after thought since we drafted Shuler in the first round. Gus came in without any pressure on himself. He was a fan favorite after Heath held out during preseason.

Patrick on the other hand held out of preseason like Shuler did. But....Ramsey has proved to be the real deal so far. And he has a ton of pressure on his shoulders. Still, he has shown that he'll be our QB for a long time....

People are calling Ramsey a 2nd year QB. In my mind he's still a first year QB.
