I know he had some tips, but he was never really close to getting pressure and is clearly thinking about the knee. He lacks explosion and it has to because of the knee.
I am not a doctor, but maybe give him a few weeks off would get him back to 100%. It would be nice to see him flying off the edge.

No, he was playing against Levi Brown who is fast becoming one of the better right tackles in the league

He's not overpowering anyone at this point but he does have a way of disrupting plays. A little more of a rotation at DE wouldn't hurt IMO.

Is this serious? Carter and the blitzers have the freedom they do because of Taylor-who's still very disruptive. Teams are deciding just to block him at all costs.

Exactly... I don't know the %, but keep him fresh with a rotation.

Seems like the dude tips a couple passes a week.
So.
Let's not bench him.

If we bench him, who do we bring in? A rotation would be better but i feel that we have more pressure on QB's this season than we did last season.
Specifically because offenses pay more attention to him our "no name" guys are able to run more freely. Even in those critical situations you never know when this guy will come through for us on a 3rd down and sometimes in a meaningful game all you need is that sack on 3rd to stop a drive and he still gives us the potential of doing that

what he said. i was at the game, and from what i saw he didn't get much pressure, but he had many tips and close on a few others. Not to mention he senses the screen cause he has been around the game so long.
It doesn't hurt you got the Young Levi brown who did a hell of a job run blocking and pass blocking tonight, and they shaded there RG towards taylor (allowing Griff to go 1-1 alot. he won a couple of those match ups but not as many as he used to. kinda one of the low lights in my opinion)
when they stood taylor up that one time. It was the play they blitz, and smoot got called for Rough the Passer. They stood taylor up and moved him to the the middle, and he absolutely layed into the LG. Almost knocked him on his ass, and moved the guard 3 yards in the backfield. warner couldn't step up. it was pretty and violent
in short, no way!

Bad thread. Go ask Kurt Warner whether Taylor should be benched. Taylor had those long arms up in the air all day and deflected at least one pass. He was also in on a number of tackles.
