ESPN is saying 2 second rounders 1 in 2009 and 1 in 2010.

I would have given up 2 second rounders in 2008 for him.

Adam Schefter begs to differ:

Cowboys acquire WR Williams from Detroit

The Lions have traded WR Roy Williams to the Cowboys for a first, third and sixth round pick.

For two seconds, I'd much rather have Kelly and Thomas -- let alone a 1st!

I'll take one bona fide star over two guys with potential any day.

I still haven't seen solid confirmation on what they gave up for him but at this point I didn't really care because some good news in Dallas was needed. I was tired of all the bad news with that crappy loss, Romo/Hurd/McBriar/Felix getting hurt, and then that circus that is Adam Jones.

I'm pretty happy to have this at least bright spot today.

can't disagree with that but the fact is the Lions were not willing to take that at the time

that's a lot for him, IMO. Doesn't solve their DB problems one bit, though.

Yeah, but it makes me wonder if we could have rolled 2 second rounders and a 4th (Tryon's pick, lol) into RW before the draft.
