Weber is just an ok television personality; but he is certainly better than the monster truck commercial announcer they replaced him with yesterday. I'm surprised his yelling didn't wake you up! lol

Outside of the Boogetyx3; I actually don't mind the Fox crew. I'd much rather listen to Waltrip, Joy and McReynolds over Weber and Kyle Petty OR Rusty and Brad D. If fox added Tim Brewer as their "car expert", I'd be perfectly content with the Fox group doing the entire season.

Have you used race buddy? Because that statement may possibly be themost wrong thing ever posted in the history of this board.

Larry Mac can't use the English language, DW is slurping on Hendrick and Kyle non stop, and the whole broadcast is an attempt to sell race fans Digger merchandise. He shows up more often and gets more air time than more than 3/4 of the field.

I'm to the point where I'll watch Daytona and then skip the rest of the fox season.

In the history of this board? Wow.

I'm still amazed at how quickly your panties get bunched up over Digger. Pull out the wedgie and relax a little. Its a racing broadcast. You are acting like a grumpy old man.

You think I don't like Digger, try looking around the internet. I'm positively beaming over him compared to the masses. He represents everything that is wrong with nascar.

My guess is that the "masses" of people who have enough energy to flat out hate Digger are the ones who sit on their internet perch and bitch and moan about all aspects of the sport. Nothing will make them happy. As I've said in the past; I've witnessed the lines being 4-5 deep at the Digger trailer and only the 88 trailer had more business. I guess the "masses" are the ones who sit home and never attend races and complain on their blogs all day.

He really doesn't bother me...and he allows me to share the sport with my 2 young girls, which is pretty cool for a guy like me stuck in a house full of females! And if I have to see him animated on screen a total of 9 times during the race (per jayski) at 10 seconds a pop, then so be it. 90 seconds of animated rodent isn't as life threatening as you make it out to be.

I support Jeremy Mayfield and am sick of NASCAR making their own rules. I would love to know what Jeremy did to piss off the Monarchy. NASCAR is a bigger sham than Boxing and is getting very close to Pro Wrestling.

I came to this exact same conclusion. That's one of the reasons that, while I enjoy watching the races, I gave up following NASCAR as a serious sport years ago.

That said, there is nothing better to grill a steak and drink beer to than a NASCAR race.

Woo!! now that was some fireworks there on the last lap. I see Tony apologizing post race but he did nothing wrong. That was a scary wreck and I am glad to see Kyle walk away from that one after the wall and then getting T-boned by Logano. Happy I tuned in to see the last 25.

PS what wast the phantom caution around 21 to go?

I agree. Tony did nothing wrong. And I loved seeing Kyle get put into the wall. And I loved hearing the fans cheer his wreck and Tony's win. I bet more was happy to see Kyle lose than to see Tony win. Still a great finish.

Tony did no wrong...and Kyle knows it. Its the last lap of Daytona...and anything goes at that point. The leader needs to block and the guy in 2nd needs to do what he needs to do. Thats racing; plate-style...pure and simple. I know a lot of you still hate the restrictor plates, but they make for great racing finishes and that is exactly what this sport needs right now.

However it was a scary wreck and I'm glad Kyle and Kahne were OK. At first, I thought Kahne had his windshield caved in after pitching Kyle's car and that could have been bad news. Either way...lets give credit to the COTs and the safer barriers for keeping all of the drivers 100% safe.

Speaking of cheering when people wrecked; I did the same when Wonder 88 went behind the wall after his wreck. Dale Jr sits at 21st behind Butthole Chin (McMurray) and Rookie Joey Logano...and is only a 2 points above Mears. His present company suits his talent level. Soooooo....was Eury Jr the real problem or not? I think Kyle was right.

Still support him? That's beyond stupid to get hit on another test.

I can't believe he failed the test again. How stupid. Only someone with a huge drug problem would allow this to happen.
