Default shaun alexander is cut

THis is a good sign it means that portis' and betts' helath must be improving. Although it could be a bad sign about montgomery and golston's health

boschetti.. blache really loves the guy, so he should be first in line...

If you recall Boschetti actually had a good pre-season although primarily only played against the scrubs

Real meaningful stay here in DC for sure lol. I wish Alexander the best but I think his best days are behind him. Interested to see who we add now on the roster. Marcus Mason sure wouldn't have hurt.

for the sake of argument, let's say we did sign mason.. and he got a carry or two.. do you think we keep him now that the real need is on the DL?

Yes. I would have made room for Mason in August, either by committing to carrying 4 RBs or parting ways with Rock Cartwright.

There is dead weight on the D line. I would look to make room there (Erasmus James seems to not be making progress and Blache has said he can't help us this year) or I would cut Mike Green. Why do we need him?

Thank Christ, Keebler is gone!!! What a waste of a roster spot. They're considering Boschetti and I would rather he be there than Keebler. Monty is expected to play next week so Golston is the concern on the Dline now.

Can anybody tell me anything about Ryan Boschetti? What does he bring to the table? How much is likely to play the rest of the season?

He's been in our DT rotation over the last 4 years. He was cut in August this season and as far as I know, has been unemployed since that time.

Another Familiarity Breeds Contempt signing. Boschetti is a bum, but he isn't a worthless bum like Alexander....

Boschetti brings the innate abiulity of how to sit on your but and never play but still collect a pay check.

Ryan Boschetti, king of the Pine.

1. Yes, he has been on and off this team for over four years now.
2. Familiarity, fresh legs.
3. Very likely unless room needs to be cleared on the roster for somebody else. Boschetti has been the 53rd man here every time he is on the roster.

He has blocked a couple FG kicks playing special teams.
