Anyone I want to get in touch with I'm still in contact with. Everyone else, well, I'd rather not advertise myself. I'd especially rather not advertise myself (and my friends) to marketers, identity thieves, stalkers and other miscreants. You never know who's reading/mining your page.

I love it too. I have caught up with so many people from back in the day. I even had beers last night with a guy who lived a few houses down from us as a kid and that wouldn't have happened without FB.

We are actually setting up my 20th h.s. reunion mostly through facebook.

Exactly. Most people lose touch with people over the years as time and lives move to different places. Apparently BNG has never experienced this.

Yes, we too are setting up our Reunion mostly via facebook. It is infinitely easier to catch everyone.

See, it rocks. Just now I got to have a political debate with someone from high school who I haven't seen in 20 years. LMAO

I'm finding it amusing to talk to people I haven't seen in decades too. The pictures are the best part. New and old...but the old ones are killing me

I've also enjoyed adding you guys as friends, because then I don't look like such a loser to my kids.

Lorri: 78 friends
Jake: 356 friends

Just a quick note for those of you with Facebook accounts, aside from the wonderful new relative marketing data they can mine about you and your friends from your social relationships (thanks, Network Theory!), they now assert complete and utter ownership of your site content (intellectual property included) even after you close your account.

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/fas...s_of.html#more

For the time being they have retreated on the "forever" clause but don't expect the terms of service to stay as they were.

They backed off from that pretty fast too.

From now on, all your posts here at hR belong to me. LMAO.

I'm still trying to make myself smart on facebook. The one thing I do like (which others have already stated) is I have gotten back in touch with so many friends I haven't seen since high school. I recently found out one of my buddies visits still lives in the town I grew up in. He even visits the town I currently live in almost every day. (Maybe he has a shawty out here, LOL).

But anyways, I would be interested in adding some of you to my facebook page. I'd like to get to know you all better. If anyone is interested my name is Calvin Pickeral from the Washington, DC network. My profile pic I'm wearing a Marcus Washington jersey and holding a cake. It was taken on my 30th b-day.
