You guys can jump on the Tar Heels basketball bandwagon if you'd like. That's the only thing I have going for me. lol

Pushing Vic Hall out to slot receiver seemed to work well. I woudln't mind seeing him line up out there with the defense continually wondering if he will motion into the backfield for a wildcat offense. Lots of options for the Hoos.
Is Groh saved again for another year dj? Or are UVA fans still unhappy with him? Seems he always pulls out a couple of W's to save his job from year to year.

This was UVA's homecoming game, and I'd say the stadium was about 75% filled. I actually expected it to be less. While the fans got a lot to cheer and celebrate about; I think most of them would like Al to go and rebuild. I'm still in that boat. Only a major turnaround w/ a bowl game would save him, IMO...simply due to his very high salary contract.

How's recruiting going? That's always a good way to tell if he'll stay or not.

You tell me; lol! You tend to know more than I when it comes to scouting. Just from an overhead view, it doesn't appear that the recruiting is going well. Usually, Al will get 1-2 really strong monster-types for OG or T and I don't think he has this year. Al's teams are usually good/bad depending on the talent at the O and D lines...

The only solace that Al can give this fanbase is a win against VT. That would be HUGE...

Yeah, it doesn't seem to be going that well right now. I think the unknowing if Al will be there or not is hurting a little. I was just wondering if you had heard anything about committed players looking around now.

FSU is having a horrible time right now with their 2010 class. Players committed are having second thoughts since there's a good chance BB will not be around next year.

I don't know who's worse, the Redskins or my Seminoles. Indian football teams suck.

I hope it carries over to next Thursday night Ryan. My Tar Heels need a W in the worst of ways.

So, if UVA beats UMD at College Park on Saturday (which is possible) that puts UVA back into bowl contention. With Groh's very hefty salary still on his contract, my guess is that the University is hoping for this continued turnaround so they can keep him aboard and save a few million.

The fanbase is still very split right now...

If UVA can go on the road to Chapel Hill and hold UNC to 3 points, they can certainly go up to College Park and beat the Terps. I'm not predicting a win...just pointing out that it is, indeed possible.

I'm surprised by your overconfidence. A reality check may be in order...
