Very nice start for the Heels and their '10 recruiting season.

The nation's No. 8 prospect, offensive tackle James Hurst decided to end his recruitment when he gave his pledge to North Carolina.

He picked UNC over Florida, Mississippi State, Ohio State, and Georgia.

Well, when you said "Tar Hill", I thought you weren't being serious. Since it's Tar Heels.

We should have a pretty good year if we stay healthy at the QB position. Our defense should be better than last year with another year of experience. I'm hoping for 9 wins in regular season. 10 with a bowl victory.

Great news. Butch has people fired up. I went to their site last sat when tickets went on sale, to buy tickets for ecu game but they sold out in 30 minutes.

excuse me , i was unaware you had to be perfect on here to post a comment.
LMAO. Wow.....again

Apparently you don't know that there are fans here who are not Tar Heel fans. [Two words by the way] And they happen to have certain nicknames they call Carolina. Thought you were pretty witty and came up with a new one for me. Guess I was wrong.

This will be my last post with you on this. From here on out if you have a problem, feel free to PM me and we can continue this 3rd grade dialogue via PMs. [Private Messages]

2009 ACC Preseason Poll: http://voices.washingtonpost.com/ter...season_po.html

Picked the Terps to finish fifth. Hoping it turns out better than that for my senior year.

UVA at 5th seems reasonable as well. I could see GT being a serious contender for Coastal this season; so VT does NOT have their ticket for the ACC Championsihp punched just yet...

The front seven will be fun to watch. We really need some help with recruiting CBs and a preferably a 5* RB.

I can't wait for football season to get here!

I can't wait to see Dante Moss. I can't wait to see Josh Adams. I can't wait to see Jheranie Boyd. I can't wait to see A.J. Blue. And I can't wait to see if Donovan Tate turns down the Padres $$$ and instead play football/baseball in UNC. I also can't wait to watch the fastest LBers in the ACC. Possibly the fastest LBers in the nation. I'm telling you. If our front 7 stays healthy, this defense could be one of the best defenses the ACC has ever seen.

I'm not sold on it Mike. At this point i'll take FSU, Miami, and VT all over UNC's defense for this year.
