Skins sign Anthony Alridge (RB/KR)
Rotoworld.com

Redskins claimed RB Anthony Alridge off waivers from the Broncos.
The Vikings also put in a bid for the scat-back/returner.
The 'Skins coaching staff is longing for a homerun hitter at tailback this offseason.
If Alridge ends up being the best they can do in that role, Clinton Portis owners can rest easy.

Well he showed a little something in the Broncos camp last year...guess he's worth a look see.

i would vote for that.. plus, taking some carries or passes away from betts as well.
watching the impact that sproles had on the chargers offense had to be something they could not have missed..

As Blutarsky once said,
"Have a brew. Don't cost nothing".
(Actually, I think a waiver-wire claim costs the club $250).
But the point is, they are taking a look at a young player who
can potentially help the club and they have given up neither a
valuable draft pick nor another player to do so. They haven't even
given up any cap space, since Alrdige contract is probably for the NFL \
minimum. No down side, potential up side, what's not to like?
